The location is perfect because you even have to cross the street to go to the beach, and the view from the balcony is amazing, we could hear the waves from the bedroom. And a taxi to the bus station it's just 5 euros. There is also a restaurant downstairs with tables by the beach and delicious Greek food.

My husband and I have just returned from a week stay from 10th June at these apartments and it was truly a peaceful and relaxing time. It ticks all the boxes if you simply want a chilled holiday in a beautiful quiet area with exceptional fresh food served in the restaurant by the family. The Greek family who run the... More

Right on the edge of town, yet within walking distance (or a short bus ride) from the centre. There is a supermarket and bakery within a couple of hundred yards, as are a couple of (good) bars and tavernas...and a quiet taverna within the building. Rooms are very good value as a/c, safe and fridge are all included in the... More

Right on the beach in a very quiet part of Chania. We woke up and fell asleep to the sound of the sea. If for some reason you don't want to listen to the sea the apartment has double glazed balcony door so just shut it out. There is also another door in front of the double glazed one to... More

The hotel is situated in an ideal place - on the beach in the outskirts of town. To one direction starts the beach strip used by locals, and to other direction the Nea Hora district of Hania. To old town is two kilometers walk. To Nea Hora tourist beach boulevard is one kilometer. The apartments are bit ascetic but very... More

Melani Apartments is the perfect compromise between studios in the town center and beach hotel rooms. The 2km to the Old Town can be done by foot along a changing seaside or by a bus which leaves near the hotel every half hour. The rooms are quit spacious and give great view on the sea and/or the White Mountains, most... More

This is different to the usual holiday apartments. Its not among tourist attractions but is within a five to fifteen minute walk to the main ones. Just a walk along a beautiful sandy beach and small quaint fishing port into the old town/harbour and city centre. Its right on a small secluded beach facing the sea directly, a few metres... More

We loved the Melani Apatments from the minute we got there. They don't look much from the outside but are quite nice on the inside. Basic but clean. To start with they are owned by a very lovely man, Andreas, who has got a great sense of humour. We found him very amiable. He gave us the choice of two... More

Nice hotel! Location is the best, right at the beach, on the quiet site of chania, walking distance to the centre. The beach is also nice and quiet, only locals come there. The hotel is sober, but wel maintained. Cleaning is done daily, no breakfast but you have good bakeryshop around the corner en minimarktets. Under the hotel there is... More
