This was really bad experience. Rooms dirty, halls dirty, limited all inclusive (what?) and rude staff. This hotel should be closed or management completely changed, because this is a tourist trap. I have never saw so ugly place to stay like Porto Alegre beach hotel. Avoid it!!!

First of all, the staff was absolutely friendly, helpful and smiley! What a great way to be hosted at a hotel when on holidays. My room was sparkling clean and the cleaning ladies were giving their best to keep the hotel high standards every single day. I was also happy to have a parking space however not always but I... Small and cosy, very cute hotel really close to the city of Chania with a bus stop close to the hotel entrance. My room was very big and absolutely clean. Although the hotel is a 3 star one, the breakfast was more than sufficient. I liked the small pool because I feel I get lost in huge spaces. However, I... More

The hotel has a very good location. But the room was smelling HORRIBLE of mold. The waitresses at the breakfast were not cleaning others food scraps from the table, forcing the residents to do their jop. I want to believe that there are better places to stay at the beautiful city of Chania.

1) more than half of the staff is impolite, especially the women. Only two persons were polite, i think the one is the owner 2) we had booked a room with sea view BUT just outside our door was a table of the swimming pool, with some people sitting and talking all day and all night long! So we had... More

I stayed in this hotel with my wife and our small baby (11 months old) for one week. It is a small hotel but in a very cozy. The staff was very very friendly and hospitable and they made us feel quite comfortable (regards to Mr. Costas). It's not very far from city center but enough to avoid the hussle... More

We had booked this hotel over the internet directly with them, for 10 days initially. Their website is inviting so we had decided to try our luck. However once we got there, we got quite disappointed. A quiet room was assigned to us, as requested, but in a basement facing a wall. The basement situation had been announced but I... More

I' ve been there with my family for one night and we were amazed. The hotel is small, friendly, clean, organized between Platanias and Chania with excellent sea view. The pool area is clean and beautiful. The roof garden where the breakfast is served is lovely. The rooms are new, with cute decorations, with a quite big, for hotel, refrigerator... More

Small beautifully maintained hotel overlooking the sea. Spotlesss and with friendly helpful staff who all spoke English. Lovely roof terrace for simple fresh breakfast and lovely pool and pool area. Handy for excellent local tavernas and sandy beach. Road quite busy at front so can be a bit noisy but this is the same for all hotels in this area.... More
