From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with the offer of coffee in the kitchen/breakfast room by Eleni we were treated to a very special time. Our room, on the first floor, by the kitchen/breakfast room, was beautifully decorated and furnished. The balcony with table and 2 chairs has, as has been said by many reviewers, the most stunning... Mama Nena is a beautiful three-room B&B right on the harbor in Chania. The rooms are well decorated and stylish. The bed was comfortable, and the view directly into the harbor couldn't be beat. We stayed on the top floor, and we had a nice balcony in the back of the room that overlooked the town. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious... More

This is one of the most memorable places I've stayed, with a great view of the harbor, elegantly simple rooms and architecture, good breakfast, right in the middle of town but not loud, restaurants and bars conveniently nearby. We were only here 2 or 3 days, and could've stayed 2 or 3 days longer and done some day trips out... More

This beautiful renovated house has three special rooms/suites in a prefect location. We were in the double room and had a small balcony overlooking the old Venetian harbor. The view was amazing. It was wonderful watching the light change on the buildings as the sun went down. Breakfasts were delicious with fruit, eggs, etc. coming from the owner's farm. The... More

This accommodation has the best possible location, is extremely stylishly decorated, and had the most delightful and warm welcome. Our room came with a stunning view of the harbour as well as its own balcony area at the back. As well as the room being very comfortable, the breakfast, made with ingredients from the owners' farm, was absolutely delicious. We... More

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and we loved it!! The hotel is wonderful. The design is cozy and luxurious at the same time. Diana and Matina were both such friendly happy women we felt right at home. The breakfast there is top notch and I have never had such a good glass of orange juice in... More

My husband and I stayed at Mama Nena for three nights in May 2013. The hotel is perfectly formed and beautifully decorated. Our room was perfect with a fantastic view, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and easy chairs for relaxing in. The little touches of magazines, biscuits and grappa made you feel like you were staying in someone’s home. Breakfast was... More

Beautiful, tasteful, individual boutique hotel. The best in Hania. The design & luxurious finish beats all international 5 star chains. In fact, this hotel has the edge in many ways... Two of the most beautiful welcoming smiles on the island (Diana & Matina, the lovely hosts); Expert local advice and ideas from them both (things to do & see off... More

They say that photos worth 1000 words. But Mama Nena was more than words and photos can describe. Very stylish, comfortable enviroment, with amazing view in Old Port, and details that make you feel like home. Don't miss out breakfast!

We ended our two week vacation in Chania, Greece. It was a perfect ending. Our ferry was late arriving in Iraklion and we had a two hour drive to get to Chania. We arrived about 11:30 p.m. & called Heleni, one of the owners on the phone and she gave us directions which seemed vague but were accurate. We had... More
