My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hermes Hotel for 2 weeks all inclusive in June 2014 and over all we had a very lovely holiday. Aghios Nikolaos is an extremely beautiful area of Crete and I would definitely encourage anyone to visit the region for its lovely beaches, harbour and unique shops. Set on the sea front, Hermes hotel... More

As many others, we booked the trip to this hotel when it was still Iberostar Hermes. We did not find out that the hotel had changed ownership until a couple of weeks before our trip. Although I traveled with my husband and 14-year-old son, we were not really looking for a hotel with loads of little kids running around. Hermes... More

Worst points first, Russians everywhere in this hotel approximately 75%, to say these people are bad mannered is understatement they are rude, noisy and aggressive both to the staff and other guests. I've never experienced behaviour like it. They take excessive amounts of food often enough to feed 3 or more and then leave half of what they take (criminal)... More

Visited Hermes hotel after a recommendation from a friend but the hotel has changed to a Dessole hotel. The hotel is in an ideal position in Ag Nik with some lovely views. The staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms are clean and comfortable. However a lot of guests are Russian and have no manners and are very greedy... More

My fiancee and I planned a trip to Greece for a summer vacation. I realized one week before we left for our trip that we were not staying at the Iberostar resorts I had thought (I thought we wer in one of the 2 Iberostars elsewhere in Crete) We had booked our trip through a travel agency and could not... My husband and I have been going to the Hermes for 20 Years. This year in June was a very different experience to previous years. The hotel and in particular the staff are as brilliant ever but it was spoiled by too many children in the Hotel. We have nothing against children but this Hotel is not geared up or... More

We have just returned from a week stay at this location. This was our first stay at this resort although we visited the area from a cruise ship some years ago. the transfer time from the airport ( travelling with Thomson ) is a little desperate as it can vary from anything between ono and a half to over two... A double glazed sliding door led out to a balcony with a limited view of the sea to the left and of the steps and outside tabled area of the next... More

I have just arrived home from the Hermes Hotel and have mixed feelings. Positives are: Perfect location, close to everywhere.Excellent pool area, very clean, always a sunbed available, the animation team didn't bother me, their visits where brief & not too loud but it is definately not geared up for children. Reception, Restaurant areas also exceptionally high standard. Lady who... More
