We stayed here October 2012 for my brothers wedding. Our group varied in age from 7 to 70 and all had an amazing time! The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very family friendly. Fantastic location and the actual hotel was beautiful, traditional, had everything you need and was spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend... More

We love Palazzo. The very well furnished and decorated rooms, the view, the ambiance, the friendly staff. You feel like at home. You stay just next to the city center and nevertheless just in front of the beach with some gorgeous morning lights when the sun goes up!!!! Just next door you find some very nice restaurants with good food.... More

My sister and her family stayed here for a few days last June. Its a wonderful hotel, loved and taken care of by the owners who are very friendly. Perfect for a family, close to the beach and center of town - no need to hire a car really unless you plan to go sightseeing....

The Palazzo was our choice after much searching online and emails with Poppi, the genial owner and GM and your guide to Crete. The hotel faces a lovely secluded in-town beach, surrounded by some great restaurants and just a hop down the street to the harbor center. Get a waterfront view because the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The rooms... More

This was our 2nd stay here and Popi booked us into the same room as before with a sea view and a little balcony overlooking the small beach area. It is in such a great location and the rooms have a charm of their own, spacious and well served with fridge etc. The beach is just across the road and... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Apartments for a week, end of May/start of June, 2013. We found all aspects to be truly excellent. The apartment was clean and cool. The bed was really, really comfortable. But above all the staff attitude was very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Book with confidence, you will not be disappointed.

Very nice, clean and spacious hotel with nicely decorated rooms ( marble kitchen and bathroom and antique floors combined with cocomat lounchebank). Our room ( number ) had a large balcony with seeview. The only disadvantage is the inbuild double bed, for tall people its a bit too short. Everyday a lovely tasty breakfast is served with croissants, eggs, bruschetta... More

We got better room facing the sea because it was free. Apartment itself was amazing, staff is helpful and nice. Breakfast was little bit simple but served with hospitality. I really wish to stay here again,I don't even consider any other place in Agios Nikolaos.

We loved this hotel, very clean and comfortable ideal if you want a central base to stay in this part of Crete. Great breakfast and plenty of it really sets you up for the day. Lots of lovely places to eat very close by and a very short walk down to the harbour and the lake. We would definitely stay... More
