I have just had to double check that I am writing about the right place, hab=ving read the last review, as we had a very different experience of this place... Technically, we stayed at Stellina Royal - the newer part of the hotel complex that's all on the same site. The restaurant and all facilities are shared and in the... More

We have just spent a hellish week at the Stellina Village, thank god I got it cheap on group on, feel ripped off, hugely disappointed, and in need of another holiday. The location is hidden from the coast, on the wrong side of the hill with no sea view, the sun doesn't hit the site until after midday because it's... More

The hotel itself and the staff were very well organized and helpful. I would agree with most of the positive comments from previous guests. The car company Apollonia recommended by the hotel front desk was very disappointing. They provided us with a car from 6PM for four days and as I picked it from the hotel in the evening I... More

Staff very friendly, good cleaning, good pool. Restaurant 3/5 *, no one got seek from the restaurant, and over middle in ok good food. No internet on the rooms, only internet very close to reception, and to 6 EUR / hour. That is more expensive than Hilton in New York, which was the most expensive internet we had tried, before... We stayed for two weeks with two small children at the newest part: Stellina Royal. The whole resort was very quiet, tidy, clean and easy accessible. Good food and very good service at both bars and at the restaurant and the market. Scandinavian guests. The city of Chania is easy to reach by public bus service. Several beaches are nearby,... More

We stayed here in July 2008...I know, a long time ago, but we never managed to write a review but I thought we should even though its late because we loved our stay here. The rooms are very nice and roomy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It is very close to the beach. They have a store where... More

My gorlfriend and my visted this hotel on our vacation with Apollo (Denmark). It was a nice stay. The hotel is place en an area where there'r no restaurants, giftshop and so - just some small supermarked, where you can buy drink and food. If you want to eat out you have to take the bus or cap to get... More

Nice hotel with good pools for kids and adults. There are sandy beaches about 3-500 meters from the hotel. The beach is much more protected from waves than the beach in Platanias, and I suppose that underwater currents is no problem at the closest beach. Chania was a lovely city and is just 3-4 km from the hotel. What I... More

We stayed for one week with our 2-year old son and my in-laws. Close proximity to a small uncrowded beach. The hotel apartments were fine with possibilitie to cook if you wanted. The restaurant on site was good along with nice staff, very nice to the children. Small supermarket on the premises to go for the morning bread or some... More
