This was one of Rick Steves’ recommended hotels in his Greece, third addition. The Pithos Rooms is in the heart of town, on the lower road. For us light sleepers, even our room near the road was quiet (George and Vicki installed new insulating windows). There is free WIFI, but no elevator, so you do have to get up to... More

Excellent choice. George and his family actually live at this location, so it's truly a B&B. The family bends over backwards to see that you are happy... and if you manage to not be happy here, then you should have chosen a stark commercial property off at the far end of town where there are no stores nearby. Pitho's location... More

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Perfect location. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Very clean. Free WiFi that actually works. This is not a luxury hotel, but good value for money, and highly recommended.

We stayed at Pitho Rooms for one night during our Honeymoon in September, 2014, and it was absolutely perfect. Great location, comfortable room, and the hospitality provided by George and his family is second to none. We showed up later in the day after visiting the Ruins and were greeted warmly by George and his wife. He showed us to... More

We stayed for one night in two connected rooms with our teenage daughters right before Christmas. The hotel is a small family-run establishment on the main street, with clean and comfortable rooms. We can't say enough about how wonderful the hosts are. George is a warm, friendly, and professional Delphi native (his grandmother's family actually lived in the village that... More

We spent two nights at this small hotel, located smack-bang in the middle of the town, close to all the restaurants and an easy walk to the archaeological sites and the museum. The streets are narrow and parking can be a problem but we were always able to find a park on the street within the proximity of the hotel.... More

We loved this small family run hotel. George & Vicky were delightful hosts, welcoming and very friendly. The room was lovely, with the most comfortable beds in Greece. The only downside for us was that the shower had to be hand held to wash yourself, small issue. We had a great breakfast and a delightful dinner at a restaurant recommended... More

Great place, clean and new and comfortable. The owners are a beautiful family and make you feel at home in an instant. They promote the interaction between guests during the delicious breakfast, witch included family recipes. Very good location, the hotel is silent, totally will want to go back!

The couple of managers, George and Vicki are so kind, giving you a warm reception. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There's no lift, but George helps you go up stairs with the luggage. I like very much this hotel.

George stayed up late to receive us (past 1 am) yet he gets up early to begin serving breakfast to all of the patrons at 8:15 am. He gives great directions to everything and is incredibly friendly. Room was large and clean. Furnishings a little outdated; however, service, size of room, and cleanliness easily make up for this. Price was... More
