Some guests commented on the website that the Mistral needs redecorating or upgrading. I was perfectly comfortable, and the service was exceptional! One exception to the good service was the breakfast waiter, who seemed to be guarding the room rather than assisting the guests.

I was only really there for one and a half nights because I had an early flight. The price I paid was very reasonable for a double room to myself. The overall impression of the hotel was good when you walked in and the receptionist was very wecoming. I had requested a sea view and got a 3rd floor room... More

We chose to stay at this hotel despite reading the reviews because we liked the look of the roof restaurant. The roof restaurant and bar area is indeed as nice as it looks but was sadly empty of guests. We soon found out why when we were charged a whopping 15 euros for 2 drinks. In total we stayed for... Good location in close proximity to the many restaurants at the harbour (about 10 minute walk) and a 30 Minute walk to shops etc. Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms need refurbishing - a little worn and tired looking so okay as long as you don't expect much. A plus is the pool and restaurant on the roof-top.

only stayed 1 night - not the best. No balcony, just a big sliding window that did not lock, completely overlooked by other rooms, no net curtain/no privacy at all...the dirtiest, shabbiest room we have ever stayed in. Saggy, lumpy mattress and flat pillow..shower head had nowhere to hang and produced a globe of water rather than a shower. There... More

we stayed in a front room and the view was amazing (although there was no provision for chairs at the balcony).despite the exterior of the hotel the interior was very old, dirty and not renovated since it was built. the breakfast was poor. we will never forget the rudeness of the employees in the front desk. we would never recommend... As quite a lot of reviews already mentioned, the hotel is a bit dated. It is a fact that you just can't hide. But I really enjoyed my stay here. The bathrooms were spatious, very clean, the water pressure was decent. The beds, though a bit on the hard side, were still quite comfortable. The WiFi worked great for me.... More

Stayed here three nights prior to boarding a cruise. The hotel is in the process of a MUCH needed renovation. The lobby area is OK, the roof top pool area very nice with a view over the harbour. But the rooms are very poor. The beds and linens are old, the carpet worn, the air conditioning needed to be "fixed"... More

As a Travel Agent, we would expect a lot more, but regretfully this was a bad experience overall. - Pillow and Matresses so old, soft and lumpy - Dirty carpets and curtains - Balconies unattended with dry soil no plants - the funniest was that on the second day they turned on the sprinkler system with no life in the... We stayed for one night after arriving in Piraeus, we chose this option rather than arriving at midnight then having to transfer to the airport. A taxi ride from the port was 6 Euros took 20 minutes loads of traffic probably 3 miles, we left about 17:00. A taxi to the airport 45 Euros and took 40 minutes probably 30... More
