Good hotel with renovated rooms. prices ok, friendly staff, poor breakfast(but not expensive)
The Triton Hotel was a one night stay for us, the night before catching an early Ferry to Santorini Island. It was very close to the Metro Station and to the Port for our ferry, so dragging our bags from A to B was fairly simple.
The room itself was clean, small (particularly the bathroom) and the bed was comfortable...

This is a good Hotel to stay in Pireo, it's not expensive for the place where is it (near to the port and with shops all around) and for the service, rooms, breakfast (included)... They have a very beautiful common room with wifi and they also have dining room with good and cheap food.
The hotel is only 2 blocks away from the port of Piraeus and a 200m walk away from the metro, thus it is super convenient.
The room is basic and small, but clean enough to stay just for a night especially either if you have an early boat or you arrived late, but nothing longer than that.
A plus point...

Having had a bad choice on my way out through Piraeus, I researched the options before choosing where to stay on the way back. Triton is very convenient for the Metro, Bus Station (bus from/to airport) and Cyclades ferries. Reception neat, tidy and welcoming and my room was excellent quality for a budget hotel. On the top floor, with a...

The Hotel Triton in Piraeus is a very good choice for a 1 night stay pre-cruise/ferry trip. Piraeus is a port town & as such not one of the nicest areas of Greece but the hotel is in a great location being less than 5 min walk to the ferry terminal, many cafes nearby as well as the metro &...

I booked online through their web-site and was a bit surprised that my booking wasn't in place when I arrived. (The clerk just forgot to transcribe the booking). Best to double check during the peak-season. The hotel is well situated close to centre of Piraeus, the metro station and Island ferries. The room was OK (smoky smell which is still...

This hotel has obviously been redone since recent posts. The easy access to Athens - as well as the shops and sights of Piraeus itself - are certainly reason to stay here, especially if you have a departure from the port. If I couldn't find an inexpensive hotel in the city, I would certainly stay here again.
We stayed in...

Having driven to Athens, we parked outside Triton with few expectations. However, what a great find! It's a 2 min walk to the ferries, a 5 min walk to the Metro (20 mins and 1 euro to centre of Athens). We found secure long term car parking 2 mins walk away (9 euros per day or 130 euros for a...

Having read some of the other reviews I'm not sure if they are writing about the same hotel. The room we had was spotless and tastefully decorated, the reception very friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent, the location convenient to shopping, ferries and the airport bus, the price reasonable. OK, it's Piraeus not the Plaka, but there are a few...
