We only stayed for one night before catching the ferry but was a lovely hotel. Very helpful staff and very convenient transfer to port in the morning. I would recommend this hotel in the future.......

We love staying at the Phidias Hotel! It is perfectly located for our trips in the Greek Isles. Rooms are beautiful: quiet, clean, modern, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and professional. An added bonus: after checking into our room, a knock on the door signals the arrival of a hotel employee with a small bottle of... More

Stayed here in June 2014 with the family. We were taking a very early boat out to the islands, so we decided to stay in Piraeus. Phidias appeared to be the most popular choice, and reasonably priced, so we went with it. After all it was going to be an overnight stay. The lane where the hotel is located is... More

We stayed here the night before going to Santorini by Ferry. We landed in the evening and took the train to the port, bought our ferry tickets, then took a cab to Phidias. The staff there are polite and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet. We were coming from the west coast of the United States so we were... More

Well stayed here as a family of 4 the night before getting a ferry to one of the Greek Islands. Clearly they have put a lot of money into renovating this hotel up to an excellent and tasteful standard. We stayed in a family room which although not large, was well laid out with the two single beds for the... More

We needed to stay over night in Piraeus inbetween flight and our ferry the next morning, for this purpose Phidias was an excellent choice. Very good value for money, clean, comfortable and helpful staff. The main selling point for us was that they picked us up from the bus stop and the next morning dropped us at the ferry port.... More

This was our first stay at Phidias and would not hesitate to book again. The staff were efficient and friendly and organised our ferry tickets and shuttle to the port. We appreciated the complimentary wine and the mini bar prices were very reasonable. The hotel is clean and bright. Our room and en suite bathroom were spotless and very pleasant.... More

Well situated for embarking on a vessel at Piraeus. The management was very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided car service to the pier which was very helpful, particularly as the driver made sure he knew where the ship was docked. Our room and bathroom were small and basic but adequate for our needs. Air conditioning, flat screen tv and... More

As we travel 3 months thru Europe we can see this hotel's strengths and one weakness: our room was too small for two adults with almost no floor area. However it was only one night and staff warmth made up for it.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We got a free small bottle of wine to enjoy in our room - which had all mod cons and was very clean. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice of hot and cold. They booked us onto their free shuttle bus in the morning and we were driven straight to the ship we... More
