We needed to stay over night in Piraeus inbetween flight and our ferry the next morning, for this purpose Phidias was an excellent choice. Very good value for money, clean, comfortable and helpful staff. The main selling point for us was that they picked us up from the bus stop and the next morning dropped us at the ferry port.... More

This was our first stay at Phidias and would not hesitate to book again. The staff were efficient and friendly and organised our ferry tickets and shuttle to the port. We appreciated the complimentary wine and the mini bar prices were very reasonable. The hotel is clean and bright. Our room and en suite bathroom were spotless and very pleasant.... More

Well situated for embarking on a vessel at Piraeus. The management was very friendly and helpful. The hotel provided car service to the pier which was very helpful, particularly as the driver made sure he knew where the ship was docked. Our room and bathroom were small and basic but adequate for our needs. Air conditioning, flat screen tv and... More

As we travel 3 months thru Europe we can see this hotel's strengths and one weakness: our room was too small for two adults with almost no floor area. However it was only one night and staff warmth made up for it.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We got a free small bottle of wine to enjoy in our room - which had all mod cons and was very clean. Breakfast was lovely - lots of choice of hot and cold. They booked us onto their free shuttle bus in the morning and we were driven straight to the ship we... More

Phidias Hotel was ideal as far as we were concerned. We arrived from Naxos on the Highspeed 4 at around 9 at night and the young man with the hotels transport arrived two minutes after we landed and transported us all to the hotel free of charge. It was our last night in Greece and we wanted to finish off... More

Was really looking forward to staying here, but unfortunately they have overbooked, so have cancelled our booking less than a week before we were due to stay. Very annoyed about this as I booked this 5 months ago and spent a lot of time researching hotels to get the right place and now have to start again.

If you need a hotel for an early morning or late night ferry, look no further than this bargain gem of a hotel in Piraeus. Although a little further away from the ferries than other hotels, the free and efficient transfer service means that this is no problem. My room was spotlessly clean with a large comfortable bed, efficient airconditioning,... More

The location is just behind the marina which has restaurants/shops. It is also a 10 min walk from the ferry port. The hotel is very modern, the rooms are well equipped and extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a small bottle of wine brought to our room on arrival. We were also given... More
