The Phidias Hotel is a very pleasant hotel near the waterfront and a number of very good restaurants. Have them tell you about a BBQ restaurant near the hotel. We went for lunch and intended to go for dinner, but we were too full after the good meal we had for lunch. The hotel serves a very good breakfast, all... More

We had a brand new room on the 6th floor. Everything was clean and working. Very close to the pasalimani with cafés and restaurants. Very friendly staff. They asked us if we were going to the harbour the next morning and had us driven there free of charge.

Its also a lovely location for shopping and restaurants, hairdressers and beauty salons for after your island trip! The staff were so welcoming I booked in for... More

From our initial online enquiry through to check-out our overnight stay was perfect! We had never visited Greece before so weren't sure about our options for getting to Piraeus for our Greek Island Cruise from Athens airport. Lia from Phidias provided us with full instructions on what bus to catch, where to catch it from and then where to get... More

We stayed for one night to catch an early ferry. It was a great experience. Someone picked up us from the bus stop that stopped close to the hotel (direct bus from airport to Pireaus port). It was beautifully decorated, modern, and very clean, although our room did smell like smoke (we forgot to specify in our reservations). In the... More

I stayed here in mid-July for a night before catching a morning ferry. It's a 10 minute walk from the train station and easy to find if you look at a map. I was impressed with all aspects of the hotel. They happily accommodated my unannounced early arrival and got me into my room as soon as possible. The desk... More

Very convenient and clean hotel in Piraeus for an overnight stay to catch the morning ferry to the islands. Staff are very friendly, helpful with directions and very welcoming. The budget hotel is very well located to the ferry port and in a safe area. The welcome wine was a pleasant surprise and complimentary transport is efficiently arranged by the... More

Within walking distance from the port and metro, this newly renovated hotel is perfect for any stopovers in Piraeus. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and modern. The staff went above and beyond any expectations, driving us to our station and helping us plan on how to get to northern Greece. They even welcomed us with a glass of... More

Completely refurbished hotel, very nice spotless rooms and bathrooms. As a family of five, we had two rooms next to each other. Very friendly staff, particularly towards our small children. Free transport from the hotel to the port of Pireus. Very good value for money, I highly recommend it.

It was very easy to catch a bus directly from the airport to this hotel, and we spent one night before catching a 7.25am ferry to Santorini the next day. The hotel rooms we stayed in had just been renovated and were clean, bright and lovely. Staff were very nice and gave my husband and I a complimentary half bottle... More
