Don't let the glossy hotel photos fool you. Our room was dirty and things were broken. Shower kept going hot and cold randomly The staff were friendly. Hotel is in a central location but I think its not in the nicest of areas. Had a very minor incident with a local pretending to kick my baby whilst he was in... More

Ariston (in greek means "the best") hotel lays neraby central Larisis station in Athens, where you can get acroos the city by the new athinian red line (metro) that is just a few meters away. Tis makes this location very confortable and suitable to go everywhere in Athens (seaside included...). The hotel itself is small, but very well mantained and... More

We booked here for 2 nights after reading many good reviews and seeing nice room pictures. Overall I would say I was a little underwhelmed with my stay. The hotel is 2 minutes (eyeshot distance) form the Larissa Station metro stop, which was perfectly close. The building, though, looked pretty run down from the outside. The lobby was decent, but... I stayed here 2 nights. Its a good price and near the train station which was necessary as I had to catch an early train. The road outside can be noisy but it wasnt summer and I kept the window shut. I dont know what it would be like in high summer but there is air con in the room.... More

We took this hotel for the sole reason of it's proximity to Larissa train station. We had an early train to catch so needed to be close and this hotel is just 50 or so meters from the station. On the was to the hotel our cash driver told us it was not a good area to be in especially... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon trip. The hotel is situated close to the Metro "larissa station", only 100 metre away. The reception was so-so. No greeting. Just handed us the room key and that was all the service was. The room is compact but small bathroom. The room seems to be quite old. Try not to... More

We stayed here two nights after a bit of a scheduling snafu on our part; we had previously stayed down the block at the Oscar Hotel. This place was fine, but not the best experience or value. The biggest draw-back was the lack of Wi-Fi, which seemed temporary but seriously made it hard to plan our day trips. No connection... More

We stayed in two hotels in Athens. The Titania (which was awful) and this little gem. The room is tiny but had a double bed and small balcony. Wifi wasn't working well when we were there about which staff were very apologetic. The staff were brilliant about directions and suggestions and very very friendly. Breakfast was also super. Great place... More

Booked this hotel at short notice for 7 nights during Easter week. Located only 2 minutes from Metro. Unfortunately the wifi was somewhat unstable and disappeared after 2 days. The management arranged backup in the lounge area. As we always plan our day trips using the net missing the wifi from our room was a major drawback.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location, in front of the Larissa station. The rest is really bad: WiFi wasn't working, backup WiFi in the lobby wasn't working either, unhelpful staff who didn't seem to care about the connection problems everyone had, really bad breakfast of very bad quality (even the bread was inedible) and the shower...
