The word Ariston means Excellent in greek and in fact this hotel is as good as it gets given its price. I have stayed there twice so far and never got dissapointed. First of all the location is very convenient, especially if you are travelling by train since it is right in front of the train station. Of course there... More

Everything is excellent about this hotel, just the area in which it is located is not one of the best in Athens. The hotel is a few steps away from a metro station (Stathmos Larissis), it is close to the centre of Athens, and it has a Carrfour (supermarket) nearby. There are all sorts of small shops in the area,... More

Chosen for its proximity to the main Athens rail station, and indeed its only a 2 minute walk. Receptionist was helpful, she knew my requests and gave me choice of two to look at. The road at front of hotel is very busy, and I am glad they listened to my request at back of hotel. Room was small but... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Just a few metres away from the metro station, making it very easy to commute. Room was quite tiny and having our 4 month baby with, made it a bit tight. Rained every day we were there and a warm breakfast would have been lovely. Only cold breakfast offered which was also very limited. Good stay... More

Stayed one night in Athens. A little far from everything, but very close to a metro station that brought you where you needed to go. Friendly front desk and room was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good, decent variety, and included. Great value for the price.

It is a relatively good hotel...at a quite comfortable region in Athens (metro station 100metres away)..and close to the city center. (neighbour not that good though). Clean room and bathroom...airconditioned big enough room ...including a refrigator (empty though) ...Disadvantage : basic breakfast with only cold food. Main advantages : proximity to metro station and center and secodly the price (we... More

The hotel is in a very convenient location. Because it is in a residential neigbhorhood, it is literally steps from the Larissa Metro Station, the Athens railway terminal, 1 block from a Carrefour supermarket, several convenience stores and a lot of eating places that are open late. In addition, breakfast is included in the room price and the 20 minute... More

I really don't understand negative reviews when you pay this price for the room. If you want nice view on Acropola, posh neighbourhood and other luxury things, pay yourself five star and you will got it. Ariston is great value for money just across Lariss metro station witch take you all around Athens. Staff is extremly helpfull, specially girl named... More
