We stayed here two nights after a bit of a scheduling snafu on our part; we had previously stayed down the block at the Oscar Hotel. This place was fine, but not the best experience or value. The biggest draw-back was the lack of Wi-Fi, which seemed temporary but seriously made it hard to plan our day trips. No connection... More

We stayed in two hotels in Athens. The Titania (which was awful) and this little gem. The room is tiny but had a double bed and small balcony. Wifi wasn't working well when we were there about which staff were very apologetic. The staff were brilliant about directions and suggestions and very very friendly. Breakfast was also super. Great place... More

Booked this hotel at short notice for 7 nights during Easter week. Located only 2 minutes from Metro. Unfortunately the wifi was somewhat unstable and disappeared after 2 days. The management arranged backup in the lounge area. As we always plan our day trips using the net missing the wifi from our room was a major drawback.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location, in front of the Larissa station. The rest is really bad: WiFi wasn't working, backup WiFi in the lobby wasn't working either, unhelpful staff who didn't seem to care about the connection problems everyone had, really bad breakfast of very bad quality (even the bread was inedible) and the shower... We booked this hotel because is the convenience location, just next to the Athens City Train station & metro red line(St. Larissis). As the next day, we had to catch early train (8:30am) to visit Meteora. Hotel look smart outside, bright & airy in the Cafe / breakfast room. The bathroom looks new, but with no shower curtain. Better request... More

The room was clean. The view from the balcony was nice. No electric kettle was provided. A bottle of water (500ml) in the fridge cost EURO 50 cents which was the same as that bought from stores. Larissa metro station is one block from the hotel (Change to red line at Syntagma station if going to the hotel from the... More

When we arrived at Ariston the receptionist on the front desk gave us a great welcome and introduced us to a map of Athens. She then went ahead and pointed out all the highlights of our trip. Most of the highlights were easily reachable by Metro. While Ariston is not 'centrally' located, it is conveniently right next to rail (where... More

The location is ideal with a metro train station a couple of metres away. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is just enough to start your day. There is a restaurant next door (in another hotel) which has nice food. We arrived quite late in the night and we went... More

This hotel is just a few minutes walk from the central train station in Athens and so is ideal if you just have one night in Athens like we did. When I booked the hotel through booking.com I added comments to say that I needed a gluten free vegetarian breakfast. We arrived on Christmas day and the guy on the... More

We could see the hotel as soon as we exited the train station, which is not quite 100m door-to-door. Staff at the front desk was helpful and kind. We had to leave the key with the front desk whenever we left to go out, but it was explained that they didn't want us to lose the key and be unable... More
