My daughter & I only had 2 days in Athens. The location of the hotel enabled us to walk everywhere or take the metro from the Syngrou Fix station about a block down the street. Even at night we felt very safe in the area. The room was comfortable and roomy for a European hotel. High ceilings, nice decor and... more

There's nothing particularly amazing about this hotel but that is part of its charm. It's comfortable, attractive and being a little away from the main tourist centres you can actually meet some real Greek people in the surrounding area. The staff are charming and most helpful without being pushy. The only thing which lets it down is the breakfast, but... more

The rooms were very nice, and the location of the hotel is fantastic, very close to Plaka and the Acropolis. The breakfast was very good too. Perfect place to stay to explore Athens! more

March 2008 A.J.S. Ireland. Excellent, A very nice hotel. The room was excellent, except for the noise of the traffic as we had a front room. The staff were friendly although not over helpful. My main gripe about this hotel was its breakfast; it left a lot to be desired. more

The hotel was about 5 mins walk from Acropoli Metro station and about 2 mins more from the Acropolis itself! Great location. On a busy main road but hey, it is central Athens so what do you expect? If you want a central location.... The room was air conditioned so no need to have the windows open anyway. Our room... more

This hotel is on a noisy thoroughfare. There's about 22 rooms, it's noisy and even though it's supposedly a "non-smoking" room, everywhere downstairs people smoke and the insulation is so poor that you might as well have a smoking room. If you open the window it's too noisy, if you close the window you can't breath. The Internet access is... more

My family and I stayed at the Acropolis boutique hotel a few days ago. I must say it was the first time I felt at home since i have been in Greece. The room was spectacular. High ceilings with classic furniture. We needed help with tours and ticket arrangments and the receptionist were so helpful we laid back and relaxed and... more

This hotel is in a good location, very close to the acropolis and the temple of zeus. We checked in and out of this hotel twice. (Visits to the islands in between) We took a cab to and from the airport, the cost was around 35 - 40 euro. One time we took a bus from the airrport (60 minutes,... more

My boyfriend and I moved to this hotel to escape an extremely noisy room at another hotel. The AMBH was just opening, and was still a work in progress, without a functioning elevator or bar service, but the staff more than made up for these minor inconveniences with their friendliness and efforts to please. The lobby is very nicely decorated,... more
