Like the last reviewer, we thought this was a good 3* hotel. It is on a pretty horrible road but it is very close to the Acropolis Metro station. We had a front room but because we kept the window closed and the air-con on, we were not disturbed by the noise at all. The receptionist on arrival was very... More

There is definitely nothing fancy about this hotel but it had everything we needed. Working wifi, good air conditioning and a decent shower and comfy bed. Sure there are things that could improve - the receptionists aren't the friendliest but were still polite enough, the breakfast isn't great and there are no powerpoints in the room you can easily use... Compared to our other European accommodation this best value for sure, probably due to poor Greek economy! Great breakfast. Shower head broken when we got room but fixed automatically the next day. Staff a little offhand but didn't spoil the trip. Overall great

I cannot understand how such a dump has managed to garner so many positive reviews. From the grumpy, sarcastic and overtly rude receptionist who flatly refused to attend to our problems and who seemed to resent our very existence, to various hygiene/maintenance/housekeeping issues (a bathroom sink caked in greasy gunk, a chronically faulty shower, the piece of overlooked broken glass... Just returned from our family trip to Greece and had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights at the Acropolis Museum Hotel while in Athens. The room was great for our family of 4, and the location was perfect for our walking tour of the local ruins. The staff at the Acropolis Museum Hotel was fabulous in coordinating our departure... My partner and I recently stayed here for 2 nights. It is exactly what we had expected through reading all the other reviews. Our room was on the 1st floor and faced the street, whilst we had to carry our bags up the stairs it was not an issue as there were not many of them. The bed was very... More

We and our friends stayed for a couple of nites and all enjoyed it. The proximity to the Acropolis, the Museum and the Plaka area made it a fine choice. The staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was varied and tasty, though a bit cramped. The beds were very good.It is also a block from the metro... More

Although the interiors are done nicely and it's close to tourist places. But the receptionist is very rude. Moreover if u get the top floor to stay you don't have lift access so u have to take your luggage in that corner of the hotel on top floor. And believe me that floor really looks haunted.Very poor service.Overall very bad experience.Would never... The hotel is really well located -short distance from metro and walking distance from most of the sightseeing areas. In addition, it is not in a typical noisy Athen's area. The extremely friendly staff is ready to help at any time - be it where to eat, where to go, how to do... Good breakfast is also should be mentioned!... More

The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff were helpful. However, the air con for the room was not effective and the linen sheets on the bed had holes in it. The restaurant was really small and had less choices as well.
