After having a nightmare in another Hotel on arrival......(rio hotel Athens ) we found this very nice and friendly place.....the young man from the night shift at the Reception (Nik) did an outstanding job to help us with everything.........Super-Service. The Hotel has also a beautiful roof garden with a great bar and the "million Dollar" view to the Akropolis and... More

i stayed at crystal city hotel for two nights. its an average hotel in a good location, metro station metaxourgio is aroung 100 meters but you can walk to the city centre easily. rooms were clean, the refrigerator was empty and in my room a lamp was missing, but i think its a good choice for someone who wants to... I've spent 3 nights in Athens on this hotel. First impression was an average hotel. The neighborhood did not seem very friendly, sometimes even miserable. 20 minutes walk to the Plaka, Sintagma Square or other objectives. Rooms were clean and decent, with clean bathroom and good ventilation. Decent services, but only 2 elevators that can not be enough, especially when... More

The bedrooms were tired. The service was good as was the food. The Crystal is near to the metro which was convenient (the prices were reasonable). The roads are very busy and so the metro was the quickest and cheapest form of transport. The roof garden was pleasant on an evening. The lift is minute - we had problems getting... More

A really nice hotel to stay when you visit the greek capital is this! with the view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus hill you can join your drink in the roof garden and see the whole city around!! Very close to Omonoia square, you can use the tube to travel across Athens very fast and safe..the hotel offers you breakfast... More

I recently stayed here for a couple of nights while on a tour around Greece. The room was very comfortable, if a little cramped, however this was mainly to do with the fact that they had fitted another bed in so that three of us could share a room. The bathroom door kept locking itself but was easily opened by... More

We stayed at Crystal City hotel for two nights. It is in a very convenient location, close to metro station. The hotel is clean and the staff is polite. Breakfast was very good. We asked for a triple room but they gave us a very small double with extra bed.In general, it was not as good as we expected to... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our time in Greece. We could hear the traffic in our room even though we were a few stories up. We had an issue with check-in - we had reserved our hotel online but they had delayed processing payment. When we showed up to check-in, the hotel desk informed us... More

I stayed at the Crystal city for 3 nights in all at the beginning and end of an island sailing trip. The good - very conveniently situated for metro and bus tours, nice reasonably priced lobby bar, some good hot and cold breakfast choices, free luggage storage in a keyed luggage store while I was sailing. Reception staff were largely... More

No help with luggage, very basic room. Beds like planks. When the plug was pulled on the tub, the water came up the floor drain in the bathroom.Self service breakfast with little choice and poor products. The only saving grace is the rooftop bar and restaurant that is only open in the evening.
