We stayed one night in this hotel. Before going there, we thought that it was close to metro station but we had to walk 15 minites with lugges. The room was not so clear and the skul bar just below was so noisy. The control of the airco was very difficult to use. There was not noise isolation. So i... More

Very good and cheap hotel in a great location. Bus stops are 1 min walk. Not great wifi connection, could use the internet in the room only for the basic stuff.(never manage to stream anything ) Recommended!

Friendly staff, centrally located, and pretty good value ($50 euros). Free wifi. Interesting open air play house right next store. Pretty noisy now at 11pm but we aren't minding that right now because we can sleep in. If we had to get up early might be a bit of a drag. Audience seems to be having a good time!

We stayed here in May for three nights. Where do I start? I specifically chose this hotel after looking at the hotel details on various booking sites and thought it sounded perfect. Let's get a few things straight first. The hotel states that it is only a 300 metre walk from Ampelokipi Metro station. Having arrived at the metro station... More

Ok, I can't believe no one is mentioning this, but the decor in this place is really weird! The lobby is normal, but the rooms have bright red carpeting, mirrored walls, and really creepy giant photos of women's faces. Maybe that was just our room? That said, we picked the hotel for the value and proximity to the airport, and... More

Proteas hotel is located in a safe and intereting neighborhood in Athens. It is around a 15 minute walk from Ambelokipi station heading West along Alexandros street . Many buses operate along Alexandros though I never used one to get to the hotel, which is located on a quiet street just to the South of this main thorough-fare. There are... More

Proteas is a small hotel, tucked away on a side street but right beside Alexandros (one of the main city centre thoroughfares). Hotel is very clean, fresh towels and bedlinen daily, all rooms with balcony, large bathroom, comfy bed. No frills but it was a no frill break. Staff helpful. Everything worked. Had the best sleeps I have ever had... More
