There was nothing fancy about this hotel. It was quite old, down to the elevator being basically in a closet. Our cabbie warned us that this was not a great part of town, but we (2 females) never felt threatened or in danger. Fairly convenient location, friendly and helpful desk service. Room was clean, bathroom was more modern than expected... More

The area is shady - I would definitely recommend families and girls not to stay in that area. The hotel was unclean - yellow spots and hair on sheets, the walls were very thin - we could hear our neighbors also every time they flushed their toilet it was very loud in our room.

Stayed there for a night in a triple room. The room is quite small for three people. Better if you travel light, since there's not much place for luggage. No screens on balcony / windows - but again, surprisingly, it is everywhere in Greece, and mostly in Europe, which is a nuisance, considering all those pesky mosquitoes. So, we did... More

The superior triple room is only a few euros more expensive than the standard triple room, but the room is bigger and the bathroom is also bigger. On top of that, there are free slippers and a safe. It is definitely worth paying the extra and enjoy the extra comfort. By the way, the air-con in both types of room... More

The hotel seems really old. Our room and bathroom were clean which is the most important thing for me, but it was so old and kinda ugly. You get what you pay for since it is really cheap. Location is OK. Free wifi was very good.

The one staff member we saw here was very friendly and helpful but that was about all the hotel had going for it. It's not that it's a bad place to stay, it's just incredibly average. The showers and balconies are a little grubby and the location isn't the best but you get what you pay for. Athens is a... More

Easy walk to the Acropolis, Plaka and Psirri Central areas of Athens. Rooms on the top floor have a large balcony, but are still a little noisy - it is after all central city. Based just off a major square, easy to get whatever you need. Staff are helpful and the wifi and air conditioning are good .

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2015

We spent in this hotel three nights. The room and bathroom was clean, the room had a working air-conditioning and a balcony, which helped to freshen up after a long day walking. The personnel was very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to drink and eat. The only issue is the acoustic insulation for the rooms...

The hotel is located in Metaxourgio, 2 min walk from the metro station, about 1 km away from Akropolis. The rooms are pretty comfortable as for a 2-star hotel. There are towels, soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Besides the location, another big advantage is free WiFi in the rooms that works quite well. The staff is nice and helpful,... More
