The Hotel is located in central Athens and is walking distance to the Metahourgio Metro Station which takes you to Sitagma Square and Plaka Station outside the Acropolis and Museum. Breakfast was Fantastic with local produce offerings and the staff were very helpful with directions.

The room did not match the description from the Hotels.com site. The room was extremely small and had weird interior. Very average experience overall. The only good thing is that the hotel is close to the metro station.

The hotel is one minute walk from the train station which makes it easy to get to the centre of historic Athens. There are a number of restaurants and supermarkets nearby which was also very useful. The staff were friendly, the breakfasts appetising and plentiful. The rooms were a little small and beware the unusual bed heads which we hit... More

Large room with large bath, compared to Istanbul.Located next to Metro, which is great way to travel.5 minutes from Acropolis, and many good cafes located nearby.Front desk very competent and breakfast is great.Excellent value.Only complaint was bed was a little too firm, but still slept well.Has a small but adequate lift,so get room above 2nd floor.

My friend and I booked this hotel for 5 days and having just come back be were very pleased. The hotel is in a very good location (around 20 mins walk from the agora and the surrounding region) - nearest station Metaxorghio is a 1min walk. Breakfast is excellent - mixture of continental and cereal which doesn't finish too early.... More

Great value for the money (120 E for 2 nights). All the little amenities, like free Wi-Fi, slippers, and a basket of toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, comb plus free breakfast is more like being in a 5 star hotel minus the glitter of a big reception hall and uniformed attendants. Although the facility is not new it is well maintained.... More

Pros: - Good Value for Money - Very convenient location. - Stones throw away from the metro station. Once you are out of the Metaxourghio metro station you can see the Hotel. - Friendly and helpful staff - Rooms are very clean Cons: - The lift is too small. Can accommodate only one person and the baggage. This was not... More

My daughter and I arrived mid afternoon and were shown our rooms, which were on different floors. My room 408 stank of cigarette smoke and I refused to have it. My daughter's room 308 was ok but where was the promised balcony? Having complained room 205 was available with a balcony and this was the only other room to be... More

We stayed in Katerina hotel for 3 nights in a family room (2 adults, 3 kids). This hotel is perfect for families. The room is actually two rooms with a common doorway with 2 bathrooms and a small balcony (perfect for parents who want some privacy traveling with kids). Great location (by the metro and walking distance to the museum),... More
