Within 2 hours of my arrival in Athens, my wallet was stolen by a pick-pocket on the Metro. The staff at the hotel were more than generous, helping me to make contacts with friends to get cash wired to me, to get internet and phone access to close my credit card accounts so no worse things would happen, advice to... My fiance and I stayed here for a belated Valentine's weekend this year and we found the staff to be friendly and accomodating. The rooftop restaurant was closed because they said they only open in the warmer months, so that was a bit disappointing. We also got locked out of our room because the door lock broke and the key... The room was good (good mattress and pillow). The breakfast was good (good variety, fresh bread). It was what we expected for the price. As for parking, the receptionist allowed us to use one of the 2 parking spaces adjacent to the hotel. We also got a room with the view of the Acropolis.

I had a great stay at this hotel. I was actually sent over here from Filoxenia Hotel as an "upgrade." (I didn't have to pay anything, and the receptionist even paid for my cab ride. It was just an upgrade to a better, more safely located hotel - probably because I was traveling alone.) The Apollo Hotel is very conveniently... More

The staff is excellent and very polite. They helped us a lot. The rooms are a little bit small and you can barely moove. The bathroom was not so clean and the water pressure was not enough. At night was disaster. People were screaming and shouting in the corridors, they were screaming and laughing and you couldn't sleep. After all... More

If your expectations match the price you pay you will be delighted with the Apollo. Our room was not large but had a tv, fridge, safe, fresh towels daily and was clean. We took our own travel kettle was came in very useful. The breakfast was continental with a good supply of bread, cheese, meat, jam, fruit, eggs and cereal.... More

Although the room was rather large (we had a triple bed room), there were several problems. The beds were uncomfortable, the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes despite the fact that they claimed there was no smoking, the breakfast was terrible, and it was freezing cold. My toilet broke, and since it was Sunday, they said it could not be fixed.... More

Just a crowdy and crazy hotel. The walls are like papers you can hear every whisper from the next room. Many foreigners screaming and shouting all night and during the day. The rooms are too small but clean. The stuff is friendly. The beds are old and not for a comfortable sleeping.

This is a good, albeit simple hotel, and is recommended. It is located on Achillos Street, about 15 minutes walk from the centre of town and literally a minute's walk from the nearest metro station (Metaxourgio), so a good location. The rooms are furnished suitably, and to a moderate standard, with double beds, air-conditioning, TV, desk and a wet room... More

Near center a cozy nice hotel with very friendly stuff and great value for a low price one! Great starting point for sight seeing and a sincere "Hello" and a big smile to start your day for business! Thank you
