Me and my partner stayed for a week at the Apollo hotel and we was very pleased with the outcome of our stay. The room was clean and pleasant apart from no kettle and stuff for hot drinks not being available in the room I can't fault the quality of the room. The balcony overlooked the area which wasn't the... More

we slept one night in the hotel. The personnel was friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and the budget for group up to four people is quite ok. There were as well two showers available and at minimum all needed facilities. Internet availability and speed can vary depending on the users connected. Hotel is located about 20 minutes... More

This hotel was the worst I could ever find in Athens... Their breakfast wasn't good, the rooms were awful, but at least, there was new equipment in the bathroom. The location was the most dangerous of Athens, with drugs and prostitutes after the sun is fallen.

I stayed for 3 days in the property. Overall, a nice experience. And considering the amount that you pay, it is a steal. All the lady staff are exceptionally nice, polite and very helpful. Very easily accessible and the experience leaves a good after taste.

Eventhough this hotel is good value for the money we paid, I have to say that it is old, not very bright and clean; breakfast which is not great, finishes too early for turists (09:30); reception is kind; even i read that wifi is bad, it was good when we were there; the good thing is that it is close... Major drawback is not many good eating places nearby, however ALEXANDER's is one street away, off the roundabout and was excellent. Traditional greek food, good prices and good range. Its abit dated, but its cheap. It was safe and comfortable. walking distance to many attractions, and only 30m or so to Metaxogio subway station.

If you are looking for an economical safe place to stop over in Athens, this is the place. Walk to the Acropolis and shop in the Plaka district. Then sit in the rooftop cafe and watch the lights come up on the Acropolis! Close to the subway and bus routes. Couldn't ask for more!

I can honestly say that For the Price, this is one of the best hotels you could book. The hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for. The rooms are decent, the beds are slightly uncomfortable, breakfast is mediocre, sometimes the hotel staff was helpful, and they were never rude. The neighborhood was a little run down, but... after reading terrible reviews i was a bit worried about my stay. However, it was decent... the staff were nice - the room was big.. rooms was cleaned daily. The area which people are saying is 'rough' wasn't bad at all, i saw it as seeing the real Greece. People were lovely and the metro was as 5 min walk... More
