We were a group of friends staying in Athens for a couple of nights. The hotel has been recently refurbished and is very clean and well maintained. We had booked 2 single rooms. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and the bathroom was big as well. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful which was a huge plus. The view... More

We stayed at Athens City Hotel two times because of its location ,so close to the bus hub for Attica. The Hotel is modern and clean und the staff is really nice and attentive. Our room with balcony looked out to some other apartments ,which we were glad about, because looking out to the front of the Hotel at Patision would have... I only stayed in this hotel for one night. But I like the cleanness and the service there, and it was a great value that can provide you a good private room. People there are very helpful and friendly. And the breakfast was good too.....The only thing might be no subway station nearby, but there are lots of buses will... More

We stayed at Athens City Hotel for two nights. The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable enough, it had not significant view and due to the hot weather we mostly kept the curtains closed and the AC on on full power all the time (The AC seemed not to produce enough cold air at all times). The breakfast... More

We stayed one night at the Athens City Hotel after having stayed at the Apollo Hotel a few days before. The hotel has indeed been refurbished like it said but do not open any window in the room or the bathroom... :( The view is horrible. In the bathroom window opens into a shaft in the middle of the building... More

Athens City Hotel is possible one of the best value-for-money options in Athens. A little remote, this hotel has the lobby and outside appearance of a shady '80-ies hotel -BUT appearances can be deceiving! When entering your room, you find yourself in a relaxed, modern, well-equipped hotel that can compete with many high profile hotel-chains. The rooms are extremly clean... More

The hotel has been recently refurbished and we had a clean, comfortable, well appointed room with ensuite shower and a small balcony. Plenty of hot water and clean towels and sheets every day. We stayed for 7 nights visiting friends who live in Athens. There are excellent transport links as the trolley buses into central Athens stop outside. Journey takes... More

Very very friendly staff, really nice rooms clean! For the price of the rooms is extremely good. A little poor breakfast but the bigest disadvantage is the place, as a location is convinient for going around as metro, busses etc are all around but at night feels strange with so many "profesionals" around! All in all i would stay again... More
