The desk clerks were friendly. It's easy to find, a few blocks from the metro (which you can take from the airport) and Syntagma square where you can catch cabs and buses. There is a laundry facility across the street that will wash/fold your clothes for four euro per kilo. There is a desktop/printer in the lobby for use in... More

The main selling points of the hotel are location, hospitality and affordability. It is a 5-min walk to Syntagma Square ( 400 m ), the main transport hub : metro station, airport bus terminal, trams, trolley buses and stage buses. The Acropolis ( 1.2 km ) , Monastiriki ( 800 m ), Plaka ( 100 m ), Temple of Olympian... More

We had a nice 2 nights stay here. Very strategically located, near tourist spots. Convenient if you are coming from the airport, the airport shuttle is right in front of the hotel, within a 5 mins walking distance. Very friendly Greek host, breakfast was average. All in all, will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is centrally located. Minutes walk to Syntagma Square, Airport Express X95 terminal, Roman Agora, Ancient Agora and other places of interest. Walking distance to 2 metro stations. Near to Plaka and plenty of restaurant. Breakfast was average, could be improved. Room was small. We stayed in Room 107, balcony facing the side road. It was very noisy at... More

Monastiraki, Syntagma, the Flea Market it's all there, within 5 to 10 minutes of walk. one... More

It was cleaned and new towels provided every day . The reception is manned 24 hours a day . The breakfast is adequate to set you up for the day... More

It was in the centre of Athens, syntagma&everything was close but there was no central heating just an air condition that was very hard to open&a manual single radiator that could only warm the person next to it.The pillows were terrible.friendly staff

I liked the location which is right next to Syntagma. Its a 5 minute walk from the airport express bus stop. The rooms were clean and had a small balcony overlooking Apollonos Street. The things that could be better was that the lobby smelt of smoke and for me, i prefer carpeted flooring which wasn't the case. Breakfast was adequate... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
