I stayed for three nights at the Pan Hotel in Athens, Greece, and was very impressed. The hotel is small, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The hotel is literally just a few yards from Syntagma Square, the center of the city, and the main Metro station, which makes it easy to go to and from the airport by... More

We are currently in a Greece tour and we stayed at Pan Hotel for 3 nights last week. The staff was very helpful and friendly at Pan Hotel. The hotel location was great and close to every historic and touristic place that you can imagine in Athens. It was in a walking distance to Acropolis & Plaka that you can... More

The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone. It's close to everything anyone could want (great shopping and restaurants only minutes away); a short walk to the major sites including the agora, the akropolis, hadrian's arch, the parliament buildings, the temple of zeus, and anything else in the old city. With only 3 days in town the staff plotted... More

Hotel: The hotel is perfectly located close to Syntagma Square (metro, airport bus, tour bus, 24 hour street kiosks etc.) and Plaka (shopping, restaurants etc.). It is in walking distance to all the major sites (Akropolis, Lykabettos, Parlament with guard change and more). With short metro rides you can visit larger shopping malls and Pireus harbour. The Plaka and Monastiraki... More

The location was excellent. 100 Meters from the Parliament house, the starting point of the city sightseeing our, both metro and bus that go to the airport and a 5 minute walk to the Plaka and Monastiraki neighbourhoods. But the hotel was pretty much run down. We had a "family suite" which was an odd configuration consisting of a twin... More

The Pan Hotel was very easy to reach. The train from the airport is not currently running so we were pleased to find the X95 bus took us straight to Syntagma Square, with the hotel only a three minute walk from the square. It was very close to public transport and within walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka and Monastiriki.... More

The best thing about Pan is without doubt its location, close the Metro, Airport bus, the Plaka and the Acropolis. Its a bit cramped but clean and works just fine for a night or two. Good breakfast.

I stayed in Pan Hotel on 10 June, flew to Israel and returned on 18 and stayed till 24 June. I used the room mainly for resting and sleeping. Besides these, all our times were spent walking, touring. The room with 2 single beds on our 1st day was small. On our return, we were offered double-bed room 802 and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Pan Hotel! So, what is the element that has made this 3 star city hotel of Athens operating for more than 50 years? The fact that is operated from the 3rd generation, something that effortlessly proves that tourism and hospitality run within the family, together with our friendly staff, are two of the most important aspects of our hotel that have made guests prefer us over and over again when visiting Athens. Our unique location (Syntagma Square), only adds to help you make the choice whether you are a family, a couple or a solo traveler, whether travelling for business or pleasure. The Parliament, National Garden, Panathinaic Stadium, Zappion, Plaka (old city of Athens), Monastiraki, Greek taverns, restaurants of national cuisines, Lycabetus Hill, churches of different religions, The Acropolis and Parthenon, numerous museums such as The Acropolis Museum, Archaeological Museum, The Benaki Museum, etc., central shopping areas, department stores, banks and embassies, etc. are all within walking distances from our hotel. Enjoy a walk or a swim at the beach by taking the Tram where its terminal is only 100m. from our hotel. Easily reached from the airport (El. Venizelos) or Piraeus port, as the Metro and the Airport Express Bus stop within 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel. ... more   less
