My wife and I only planned to stay in Athens for one night before we connected to Crete and wanted to find a place conveniently located to both the Acropolis and several restaurants we'd read about in the Monastiraki neighborhood. We discovered the O&B through Tripadvisor and were completely satisfied with our experience. The staff was extremely helpful, the hotel... More

We spent one night at the Ochre and Brown Hotel in Athens, Greece and liked both our room and the staff. The location is better than some of the other reviews might lead you to believe as we had a pleasant walk on a park like street to Dionysus restaurant overlooking the Acropolis and to the Parthenon itself in about... very nice hotel. choose the suite for 190euro for a more comfortable staying. the ordinary room (170 euros) is a very little cube. a bit expensive but priceless the atmoshpere of the street on sunday morning, when a kind of "marché aux pouces" takes place just outside the hotel entrance (and you can see it while having breakfast).

Hello. We loved this hotel. Service: We were greated by a friendly man whose name we did not catch. Our bags were taken up to our room and we were offered some welcome treats, which was a lovely touch after our journey. All the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The lady behind the bar was not only friendly, but... More

Whilst O&B may not be in the most salubrious part of town it certainly is in the most colorful area and spitting distance from all key centres. As such, it is very strategically located. O&B hotel staff understands the term “service” and provides it with a cheerful demeanor, they are quick on their feet and verbally responsive with an “of... More

The hotel is brand new, very charming and centered, situated in a not touristic street, surrounded by bars, small restaurants, important sights and very close to the subway station. Walking distance of some monuments and museums. Cool area but dirty and abandoned, although you feel safe when you walk even at night.

We stayed there for 3 nights after a long flight and chose this hotel because of trip advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The rooms were quite soundproof, the decor tasteful and the staff and breakfast excellent. The neighbourhood is sort of peculiar with lots of secondhand dealers but safe and very close to the Acropolis. You can choose a... More

The location is fabulous. The staff is gracious and accommodating and the rooms while small are plenty big and extremely comfy. We stayed in seven different villas or hotels over several weeks visiting four islands. The O & B had the most comfortable beds! The bathroom shower is excellent. The breakfasts were terrific. It was also nice to come in... More

Really liked this stylish hotel. Lest minute booking may be the reason for the steep costs, but to be fair, there were some lovely luxurious extras: turkish delight treats with a strange peppermint liquid refreshment brought up to the room, really soft towels, fabulous bathroom, refreshment brought up to the room on arrival were complimentary etc...on the downside, it wasn't... Stayed at the O&B with my husband. We were in Athens for a friend's wedding and were looking for a modern, boutique hotel in a central location. O&B was perfect for us. We booked one of the Acropolis Suites which are well worth the money for the amazing views of the Acropolis from the terrace. Air-conditioning was blissful and worked... More
