I really enjoyed my stay at the Phidias earlier this summer. I LOVE the location -- I'm from NYC and walking from the Metro stop reminds me of the vibe in the East Village/Alpha City. The area isn't very touristy -- there are lots of Greeks out at all hours in the cafes along the pedestrian street the hotel is... More

Stayed here with a large group of 25 which basically filled the entire hotel (we were forced into triples). Considering, we were accommodated very well. As expected, rooms are small but roomy enough for two people... Not for three. Bathrooms are old and our shower flooded the entire bathroom every time we showered which got annoying by our fifth night.... More

Loved this hotel. A friend and I stayed overnight before a ferry departure and had rave reviews. The rooms are simple but clean and include everything you need. We received complementary wine upon arrival and the hosts had great input for restaurants and questions. And best of all there is a free shuttle to pick you up from the airport... More

We stayed for 2 night. The Hotel location is very good. The street is full of buzz & activities. There are many cafes & restaurants. Breakfast is not a wide spread but comfortable & good. This place may not be suitable for people having problem in climb walking.

The hotel is located in Apostolou Pavlou and has a nice vibe to it. The streets have lots of artists, cafes and a good amount of crowd and is a good place to stay around. The rooms are nice and nice and thebest part is that it is absolutely affordable and makes for a great stay. I had stayed at... More

Cheaper place, great location. Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was a decent size had a fridge and ac. However, the bathroom needs a lot of work - there was mold everywhere, holes in the wall, the shower head wouldn't stay up on it's own, very very dirty, I was unsure that if it had even been cleaned prior... We stayed in the Phidias hotel for two nights. We had a nice, clean room at the backside of the hotel. The breakfast was simple but good. Our sons had a room at the front side of the hotel and that was really nice. The Apostolou Pavlou is a nice street with lots of artisans selling their art, lot of... More

The good: as the subject says, the location could not be more perfect. It's a short walk from the nearest metro station and within walking distance of most areas worth visiting. The front door opens to a magnificent view of the Temple of Hephaestus. The staff was rather friendly and helpful and the price per night was extremely good. There... More

I was in desperate need for hotel when I arrived in Athens, sick as a dog. My husband found the hotel through Expedia, the pictures look pretty decent and clean. But when my daughter and I got there... we were being put in this small room, dirty small bathroom , bugs infested and very small balcony with AC condenser that... More
