We have stayed at this hotel for one night only due to our business trip for a day.Great location with amazing view of Acropolis where you can walk up there in about 15-20 minutes. As this was the off season and not too much people in and around,it was still very quiet place.l believe, must be in a very crowded area during... This hotel is located a half kilometer from the Acropolis, the ancient market, and all the fun of central Athens. There is a also a metro station nearby making other destinations easy. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating given the rather rundown, basic rooms. This place could use a serious make-over including bathroom updates, beds, and other in-room... More

Dear PinUpBoy, Thank you for staying with us, and also sharing your feedback. We are in fact in the middle of a renovation process, and our goal is to offer both affordable prices, great location, and a high standard. We’d be happy to see you again next time you are in Athens! Team Phidias More

This hotel is in the most fantastic location - on a pedestrianised street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. The room (205) was fine - small, but comfortable and clean. Shower room was very tight and quite tired - it could have done with a refit. However we stayed in August and the air-con was fantastic! Staff... More

We stayed in mid August for two nights and I have to say this small hotel is perfect. It is located directly at the Ancient Agora and the pedestrian area. You just step out of the hotel and are in the middle of everything. Akropolis is 500m, the Agora 200m, Plakka 600m. Like I said: perfect. Service in the hotel... More

This hotel has a great location! It's probably a 10-15 minute walk to the Acropolis, maybe 5 minutes to the Ancient Agora, and probably 2 minutes to the subway station! Not only that, the hotel is located on this beautiful night time strip (looks & feels very different during the day though!) with restaurants & cafes. But, since it's conveniently... More

I came to the hotel very soon after being robbed by pickpockets. The nice people by the reception helped me to get a room and ticket to the airport, the day after. The names of the nice people are Konstadima and Miltos. Thank you ever so much, both of you. Beside this great and positive attitude I also want to... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Phidias earlier this summer. I LOVE the location -- I'm from NYC and walking from the Metro stop reminds me of the vibe in the East Village/Alpha City. The area isn't very touristy -- there are lots of Greeks out at all hours in the cafes along the pedestrian street the hotel is... More

Stayed here with a large group of 25 which basically filled the entire hotel (we were forced into triples). Considering, we were accommodated very well. As expected, rooms are small but roomy enough for two people... Not for three. Bathrooms are old and our shower flooded the entire bathroom every time we showered which got annoying by our fifth night.... More

Loved this hotel. A friend and I stayed overnight before a ferry departure and had rave reviews. The rooms are simple but clean and include everything you need. We received complementary wine upon arrival and the hosts had great input for restaurants and questions. And best of all there is a free shuttle to pick you up from the airport... More
