Although located in an allegedly rough neighbourhood the place was nice. We avoided roaming around in the dark so can`t say anything to back up or refute the reputation of Omonia. Stayed for 2 nights and can`t complain. Rooms were clean despite being a little worn. Sheets clean. Front desk people were helpful. Breakfast was scarce but alright. I`d rate... More

Although the hotel is located at the main road, it is safe and quiet. With such a cheap rate, the free breakfast with oatmeal, ham and cheese is a bargain. My breakfast need is simple: bread and coffee but the coffee has to taste like coffee, not dirty water as offered. I almost enjoyed climbing up the stairs every day;... More

The area is horrible, but you can go to the centre by metro, which is close to the hotel. The hotel is old and doesn't have lift. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. The toilet smelled weird.Internet connexion didn't work in second floor.

This is the fourth time in four years myself and my partner have stayed here and we look forward to arriving in Athens and heading for "our" hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and considering the number of different nationalities and languages of those visitors who pass through they do very well in understanding everyone and providing for... Every was more or less poor, internet wasn't working in the second floor and was very slowly on ground flood. The hot water didn't work in the sink. The mattress in my bed was very old and uncomfortable. The reason why I give 3 stars is because of the price which was cheap!

I booked this hotel a month in advance. Contacted the hotel directly and made sure everything was ok for my upcoming stay a few weeks ago - no dramas. Today I got off the plane and caught the metro to the hotel only to be informed they have cancelled my booking. I was told they sent me a email about... More

The staff of Neos Olympos epitomise incompetence and nastiness. They forgot my booking, didn't apologise, blamed other staff for the error and only when I refused to leave (as it was 1.30am) made any offer to find me alternative accommodation. They then refused to compensate me fully for the more expensive room I was forced to get (that they had... More

Everything was good, also breakfast was a continental type breakfast. I've been here 5 days with my friend. The room was adequate, basic equipment just shared bathroom and wc. I was satisfied :) :) :)

Neo Olympos appears quaint at first, but don't look too close. The remodel is budget and seems to have started from the ground up…so if you are sent to the top floor, as we first were (94 steps to the top), you may have some issues. After two days we complained, our doors would barely close (let alone lock), and... More

This hotel does not have a lift and it seems to have seen better times in the past. We stayed for a couple nights on the 4th floor. It was decently clean (but could do with a bit more) and the bathroom needs a new reno. Having said that the air con was great and the Internet was really good... More
