The staff was very nice, the elevator worked fine and the room was larger than in many other hotels that I've been to. Unfortunately the bed was awful. I could feel the strings on my back and the pillow was so lumpy! The area was ok in daytime but not in night time. There were hookers near the Omonia subway all... more

We booked and paid online for 2 nights for a double-bedroom at Hotel Aristoteles. When we got there with our heavy luggage at 5pm that day, the receptionist told us that they had no room for us! They never apologised and just sent us to another hotel around 2-3 blocks away! That hotel was alot worse than Hotel Aristoteles! We... more

Hotel Aristoteles was okay for it's low price. Hotel is in the heart of the city (it's not a long walk from Plaka etc.). Air conditioning worked very well and the staff was extremely nice. The problem was that the certain part of Omonia was really unsafe. Streets nearby were crowded with prostitutes and junkies, and the Omonia Square seemed... more

The hotel is a case of you get what you pay for. For a 2* Budget Hotel it was not bad - the room was plenty large enough for me and my sister, and our luggage. It was clean and cool. The hotel staff are very friendly and really helpful, and having the internet meant we could check-in for our... more

I stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights. I was a little skeptical of the place after reading reviews about the "bad" neighborhood that it was in and such, but found the neighborhood to be perfectly acceptable and walkable during the one night we wandered around (and I am a very, very picky girl that grew up in a... more

Great value for money as included breakfast for two, friendly staff, double room was two single beds (however probably some with double beds), very small but adequate bathrooms with good shower. 15 - 20 min walk to Plaka and Acropolis. Safe area, free internet in lobby a bonus. Beds a little old and could feel the springs, but still slept... more

I stayed at Hotel Aristoteles when I returned to Athens for a nostalgic trip - I used to work in one the back packer hostels in the areas back in the early 90s. I picked Aristoteles just because it was in close proximity to the hostel I used to work at and found that the the hotel was nice, clean... more

The hotel is in a good location, near Omonia Square (metro Omonia, then maybe a 10-minute walk at the most). It's within walking distance of all the major sights, and we walked almost everywhere, although the metro is cheap and easy to navigate. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. We particularly liked the bathroom. Service was excellent; the gentleman... more

The hotel is good. Breakfast is not the best you have had in your life, but well... Rooms are good but the abscense of carpets make the hotel noisy, depending on who your neighbours are. Peolple there are look for their guest, what makes the service very good. Everybody is nice and helpful. Rooms are really clean and confortable and... more

Safe hotel, efficient staff and good breakfast and clean room. Within easy walking distance to Omonia Square (when advised by friendly owner/manager ), and SO easy to access Acropolis, Parthenon, Piraeus, etc. by Metro would recommend coach to Temple of Poseidon along Aegean coast. (make sure you know where coach goes from though). All staff very helpful. Liked my room,... more
