Stayed at central athens hotel on our last night in Greece. It was a last minute decision to stay there as the hotel we had stayed in previously was fully booked. On our arrival we were told we had a free upgrade, porter took our luggage to our room so we didnt have to worry about dragging heavy suitcases. Staff... More

This was my first trip to Athens and I stayed at the Central Hotel. The location was excellent, right near the shopping strip and the Acropolis. the area is very safe, although it is in what feels like a lane way. The view from the bar was a great surprise, looking straight on to the Acropolis. The staff were very... More

The neighborhood could be better, but this place is an excellent bargain. 10 minute walk to Metro, and many restaurants close by. Hotel is modern, clean, friendly. We had a view of the Acropolis out of our window. You hear the sounds of the city, but that is a part of the Athens experience. Excellent location and classy place to... More

The hotel seems to be newly renovated, very modern. Rooms are not very big, but they are OK, bathroom as well.. all new. All very clean. The location is very central and walking distance from main attractions and just a couple of blocks from the main shopping road. It just gets a bit dark at night around the hotel, but... More

I was in Athens only for a few days and decided to stay at this Hotel mainly due to it's location. The thing about Athens is you will spend more time out and about than in your room, therefore for me, luxurious accommodation wasn't my first priority. This hotel is located in a great area, within close proximity to the... More

We arrived at Central Hotel too early to check in ,hot and sticky, the receptionist was excellent asked us to wait for half an hour, so we went for a stroll. Got back checked in early, The room was a dream with the most amazing view of the Acropolis. The icing on the cake is the terrace bar. Stay at... More

Stayed here after reading reviews and I would say it is a very good hotel. View was excellent . Rooms are small (seems to be common in Athens) they are very clean. Staff was attentive and quite pleasant if a little reluctant to make recommendations about restaurants etc. This is very close to Main Square , Parliament house, Several shopping... More

We spent 4 nights here - 3 at the beginning of our trip and 1 more night at the end as we were flying out of Athens. This is a nice hotel, located near the Plaka (touristy, but fun, shopping and dining area) and not far from the Acropolis and other ancient sites. The hotel is clean and the rooms... More

Very central hotel near all major attractions, transportation, shopping, and restaurants.he views from the rooftop bar are reason enough to stay. Staff and services are friendly and breakfast comprehensive and delicious. Good espresso! Rooms are on the smaller size but have all the amenities you would need for a short stay in Athens.
