We recently spent three nights at the Central Hotel. The room, although not spacious, was just large enough (narrow) and the bathroom was a good, comfortable size, especially for a Greek bathroom. The room felt light and fresh. We were on the back side overlooking the dome of an old church, the back of the school and had a small... More

AMAZING!! Everything was amazing! From the airport an easy walk from the Express bus stop, walking into the hotel was relief! It was beautiful! location cant be beat! in the middle of all the shops and with a roof top view that couldn't be beat! the room was very large and clean. The breakfast was absolutely prefect! Will always recommend... More

Overall would stay here again because it's right where u want to be... A Walking distance to most sites. If I had to say something negative about the hotel is that the proximity to a school and its very noise bell, ringing first thing in the morning it's not my idea of a relaxed holiday wake up call. Also the... More

We had a very nice stay in June at the Central Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located and was clean, spacious enough for our family of three, and had an EXCELLENT breakfast buffet (the best we had on our 3 week trip in Greece, Croatia and Italy). The bathroom was a bit small and lacked counter space, but that was... More

Found this hotel on Sky Scanner and then compared the rating for it on here, Trip Advisor, looked like a really nice hotel from the pictures we could see and had a really good price. When booking the hotel you can write a request if you have one for your room. Usually when you do this they don't do anything... More

My husband, mother-in-law and I just spent two nights at the Central Hotel, and we can't say enough good things about it. The hotel looks brand new, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast that was included was delicious (and very hearty for a European breakfast buffet), and the location was unbeatable. It was on a quiet side... More

There are very few cons to this hotel. It's a very good location, though your initial impression from a ton of graffiti might suggest otherwise (know that that's Athens) - it's an easy walk from Syntagma metro which is on the airport line, and walking distance to all the sites and most tour group meeting areas. It's very close to... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Athens based on the Cenreal Hotel. Whilst it was initially difficult to locate, in fact it is very central to all the main tourist locations and within walking distance of most. the hotel rooms with Acropolis View give you and excellent view of this anciant monument. The roof top bar and snack... More

The location of this hotel makes up for all the other issues such as small rooms and a tiny bath! It is perfectly located within walking distance to all the restaurants ,shopping and the Acropolis. The rooma are clean and the staff is very helpful. We will definitely stay there again if in Athens

Great location (close to plaka) quiet, amazing views, lovely breakfast, huge and clean rooms and jacuzzi on the rooftop. If we are ever back in athens we will be back here! only negative was the really loud plumbing in our room. made it sound like it was pouring with rain outside when it wasnt. and the rooftop bar is open...
