All about of this hotel is the location. We traveled in Athens just for one night and we wanted to stay in a place which is near to everything. Location if this hotel for a tourist is the best as acropolis, acropolis museum, plaka and other parts was with walking distance. The room we had was ok but the view to the... More

nice hotel with great location. We stayed 4 nights and we enjoyed our time there, the location is great everything we wanted was around of this hotel. The acropolis view was great from the roof top. Only negative that breakfast could be better. Overall a great stay. Tip: Try to book a room with acropolis view

This hotel is not recommended at all. Staff are rude, the manager was no where to be seen and not interested in his guests complaints. The rooms are small very basic and uncomfortable and the cathedral just across the road chime every hour on the hour 24/7. The breakfast staff are rude and refuse to give you toast 5 mins... More

Second visit here and would come again. Great Central location - Plenty of places to eat - close to public transport. Only downside is that the bread is a tad naff and could so easily be much better and the quality of the hams is also very poor for a country that prides itself on good food and meats.

Lobby area is tiny! 15 steps to get to reception... Hallways reek of a perfume air spray that is used to disguise the damp rancid air. There is no natural light or windows to air the hall way. Room was tired, old decor and black grease on tiles in bathroom. Bed was old and uncomfortable with stained pillows. Towels also... More

We stayed 3 nights in this small and nice hotel in Athens. Had a very good deal via their website so I booked without any problem 3 months before getting there. The hotel is small, you can easily miss the entrance but the atmosphere is excellent. If you like old-fashionned but beautifull small hotels, go there. We booked a room... More

Magna Grecia is in a superb location in Athens, very close to all the sites. Room is not terribly big but comfortable. Patio restaurant overlooks the Acropolis. However, I booked my room expecting it to look like the photos on the website. The room looks nothing like the website photos. The photos make the rooms look luxurious and utterly decadent,... More

This small little hotel is tucked in a line of shops and cafes, looking straight at the acropolis. The terrace upstairs, which serves a big, varied breakfast and also drinks and food in the evenings, is a perfect place to contemplate the Parthenon and imagine what life must have been like in Classical Greece. I recommend the feta with honey... More

I stayed in Magna Grecia Hotel last summer (Aug/2013) and liked it a lot! As I said in my title, the view from the Acropolis on the top floor, where the breakfast is served, is great! The breakfast itself is very good, with many different options, such as the real Greek yogurt, the delicious olives and tomatoes, omelets, juices, a... More

My mother and I have travelled many times to Greece and chose this hotel due its location. Aug 2013, we found bed bugs in my mothers bed, they had started coming through the sheets. The whole mattress was infested. We discovered this at 2 in the morning and were traveling the next morning at 7 so we were not left... More
