Stayed two nights May 17, 18, 2009 at the Art Hotel in Athens. The best part of the hotel is Lizy. She is a wealth of knowledge that all was true. On Lizy's advise I tried the 5 euro public tour bus that gives you a good general idea about Athens. The 24 hour pass is good for all local... more

After some reservations about booking at the Art Hotel based on some negative reviews, we decided to go ahead and book. I have to tell you, I am very happy we did. We arrived at the Art Hotel after a long 24 hour journey from the U.S. after which we were exhausted. We were greeted warmly by Demis with a... more

We stayed in Athens for 2 nights on our way to Santorini and another night on our way to France. Both times the staff was excellent and always enthusiastic in helping us out. Demis was great, he helped us arrange for breakfast at 5 AM! On our first stay the room we had was noisy with dust on the walls.... more

I stayed with my spouse at this hotel for 3 days in early May. We booked based on the great reviews we had already read here and I can say that we were more than satisfied. Rooms were clean, with great furniture and the most important ... great temperature! considering the fact that the weather outside was quite warm (almost... more

I stayed there for 2 nights and cannot regret my selection. 1. My ultimate requirement for any hotel I stay is free internet. It was a cable though in the room but in the lobby wireless was fast. So -- 5 points. 2. The hotel was in a fair location, close to main areas. 3. The service and attitude was... more

We booked one night in the hotel on our way back from our holidays. We did so based on the fantastic reviews here on tripadvisor. However, what a huge disappointment it was. We were happy that we'd booked only one night. Now, I have to say that the biggest asset of the hotel was the personnel, especially one receptionist. She... more

Wanted to say a big "thank you" to all of the staff at Art Hotel. My friend and I stayed there for 4 nights in early April 2009 and found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. Their restaurant and travel recommendations were accurate. On our last day when we were having difficulties hailing a taxi to the airport,... more

I came to Athen for honeymoon and a friendly staff welcome us and upgrade our room! Very good services and the staff explained everything clearly! Room is ok and good value for money. Location is just a bit far from the town and it's quite difficult to find our way there (if not by taxi) more

I & my boyfriend love to travel, but we never return to the same place twice, we like to explore different places in Europe. We went to Athens back in November and stayed at the Art Hotel. The staff were so friendly and amazing, they made us feel special like we were at home and were treating us with free... more
