We were a group of 5 coming from Ontario Canada and visiting Greece for the first time. As we all thrive for adventure, we decided to explore Greece by car so we rented a mini van. Our first stop was of course Athens and Art Hotel, for which we had read in this site. We stayed there for two days,... more

This was the second hotel we stayed in during our visit to Greece and absolutely loved it. It's beautifully furnished, the breakfast is plentiful and interesting and the hotel doesn't seem to be on the circuit of tour groups so it doesn't look as trashed as other places in similar price brackets. It's also close to the Archaelogical Museum. Most... more

After reading reviews I was expecting a lot from Art Hotel. As I am in my mid 20s I usually stay in hostels and had been doing so on the Greek Islands. I was expecting luxury and comfort at the Art Hotel and to be honest it was only marginally better than most of the hostels I stayed in -... more

We found Art Hotel really charming and friendly in a crazy city like Athens. Next to the National Archaeologicalmuseum one of thebest museums I have ever seen. We where there during a heatwave and in our room (n205) the airconditioning was working perfectly. Not noisy at all and we could adjust the temperature we wanted to have all night during... more

It is the third time we come back to Art hotel, our favorite hotel in Greece. We stayed once last year and twice this year at the begining and at the end of our trip. This place is really nice and the staff is amazing. Each room we stayed was different from the other and all of them nice and... more

We based our booking on the high Tripadvisor rate of this hotel, but were disappointed. The hotel presents itself as an artsy boutique hotel, but doesn't have that feel at all. We stayed in two rooms, and the first was crammed and contained mismatching, worn-out furniture. Neither rooms nor bathrooms are very clean. The owners do try, but I prefer... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Art Hotel. The accommodation was adequate but quite basic considering our room rate of over £100 per night. The main problem for us was that the air conditioning was just a climate control system and we were instructed on checking in not to adjust the temperature as it was set for the entire hotel.... more

We were quite disappointed with this hotel. Granted, we arrived after a week’s stay in a five star hotel in Mykonos making the comparison all the more startling. We stayed just one night. First, we had two single beds. I suppose the arrangement is acceptable for sleeping. Second, the bathroom was not particularly clean. Third, the spacious balcony provided two... more

I judge hotels primarily in three areas: Location, Comfort and Service (and not necessarily in that order). The Art Hotel Athens was one of several hotels we stayed in before and after a cruise on a four week tour of Europe. The location was excellent, being within easy walking distance of the Museum of Archaeology and the Metro to get... more

I am very happy we chose Art Hotel for our stay in Athens. This was the best hotel we stayed in Greece. Great price and value. The staff is extremely well trained to make your stay memorable and help you in any way possible. By our mistake we lost our flight, we where really sad and came down to reception... more
