Our travel agent booked this hotel as a final night stay in Athens before retuning to the states. While I read the wide variety of reviews, I thought "how bad can a 4-star hotel be?" The first impressions of the hotel were bad. It is located in a seedy part of town. Our first taxi driver warned us that the... More

Athens was our first stop of our New Years Europe trip. The Art Hotel can be a little difficult to find, so make sure you have intersecting streets to tell a cab driver or passerby. The service in this hotel is AMAZING. The front desk people are so friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations for places to eat and... More

We had 2 rooms here for 2 nights and were both generally pleased. The guy on reception was very friendly and helpful with tips on where to go during the day as well as where to eat in the less touristy areas for dinner.

Athens was the first stop of our honeymoon. Let me start with the positives. Upon arrival of our two night stay, we received a very warm welcome. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. Although older, the hotel was kept very clean. The staff was very attentive and was able to cater to most of... More

I received a warm welcome at the hotel and the hospitality, friendliness and efficiency of the staff continued throughout my stay. I stayed for 3 nights and returned a week later for a further 2 nights. The hotel was exceptionally clean and included free wi-fi and an excellent buffet breakfast. The comfortable bed and quietness enabled a restful sleep. The... More

I feel really awful reviewing this hotel! The young girl at reception was lovely when we checked in! We were warned by the driver when coming from the airport to make sure we were inside by dark as it was a bad area! The chair shoved under the door for extra security made us a little suspicious! The bed base... More

excellent service, amazing experience. The staff were super nice and helpful. I lost my wallet and camera, the staff at the hotel helped me cancel my credit card, filed a report, and were extremely supportive. The breakfast was very nice and healthy. Tea and coffee available anytime. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

Rooms not ready on arrival. Staff confused + argumentative. Reception area very messy. Bedding damp. Beds + pillows terrible. TV snowy. No AC remote. Rooms mouldy, badly ventilated. Shower faulty. Missing bulbs. Safe not fixed to wall. SERIOUS need of better service + clean. Will never go back.

We stayed at Art Hotel twice on our last visit to Greece. both rooms we received were great, had everything we needed, and even though the hotel is located right in the center of town we didn't suffer from any noises. The food was fresh and the staff was more than welcoming! they helped us find free paring spaces each... More

Overall the hotel itself is nothing special, but the staff puts it over the top! We were welcomed before we even arrived. I had arranged transportation with the hotel and the customer service was spectacular! When we arrived, the staff did a great job of helping us to figure out the city. As we toured the city and had questions... More
