After arriving at 10h30am we were expecting to wait until 14h00 to check in and were delighted to be given access to the room at once. My phone and credit cards were proving to be a HUGE problem in Greece and The Owner and Staff at this hotel were AMAZING in assisting me to correct the issues... Thank you for... More

This hotel was fairly decent, but the neighborhood seemed kind of sketchy at nighttime. We were out at night several times, and saw no crime, but there's graffiti everywhere. The cons: Our queen size bed was actually two twin mattresses placed side by side on the box spring. This created a chasm in the night that I kept falling into.... More

Stayed with my family for three nights. we had booked two rooms. First of all location is very central next to the national archaeological museum. We walked pretty much everywhere. hop on/of bus was just 5 minutes away from the hotel. The subway is also close by.Breakfast was good, nothing special but there was a variety. The free wi-fi was a... I found this hotel after a thorough search regarding the best value/location since it is not the first time I am visiting Athens and because I am new to internet hotel bookings. Last time I came with my husband and this time with my grandchildren. Turns out I was very satisfied with my choice. The hotel was very clean and... More

Stayed there for three days, last june. The milk in the breakfast was gone bad and thank God I smelled it before drinking it, the so-called croissant was hard as rusks and the jam was nothing more than sugar and colour, the worst jam ever! Rooms were nothing like the pictures and it if wasn't for the Archaeological Museum of... More

Stayed for 2 nights in Athens at this hotel and there are more negatives than positives. Arrival at the hotel was a flight of about 5 steps with no one to help you and after a 25 hour flight 3 suitcases and no one to help you is not what you needed. The staff behind the counter are helpful they... More

The decor was out dated. The rooms cluttered and felt unsavoury. We were there for 5 nights and it was 5 nights too long. Sadly I booked long ago and the pictures on the Internet is definitely better than the hotel actually is. The cleanliness is poor and food not too fresh. We were happy to check out. On the... More

Our travel agent booked this hotel as a final night stay in Athens before retuning to the states. While I read the wide variety of reviews, I thought "how bad can a 4-star hotel be?" The first impressions of the hotel were bad. It is located in a seedy part of town. Our first taxi driver warned us that the... More

Athens was our first stop of our New Years Europe trip. The Art Hotel can be a little difficult to find, so make sure you have intersecting streets to tell a cab driver or passerby. The service in this hotel is AMAZING. The front desk people are so friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations for places to eat and... More

We had 2 rooms here for 2 nights and were both generally pleased. The guy on reception was very friendly and helpful with tips on where to go during the day as well as where to eat in the less touristy areas for dinner.
