Stayed there the last couple nights. Very inexpensive yet stylish hotel. Their breakfast was excellent. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Highly recommend! Not too far from National Archeological Museum and major sites.

We stayed on the fifth floor for five nights. Wifi was okay on the first night but became extremely unstable and slow from the second day onwards. We finally gave up using it. Location's quite good, most of the staffs were friendly enough and breakfast was average.

The hotel is beautiful inside with special wall murals & wallpaper unique in every room. The area & street is full of graffiti since after the referendum & street protests. It urgently needs cleaning especially these are centuries old streets. Great service & located with easy access to the metro.

Staff were all extremely polite, helpful and smart. We didn't even need to ask or waive but the bell boy came to our taxi immediately to get our luggages. Breakfast was great with lots of varieties to choose from. The only complaint was really about their coffee - it was so weak that we could barely taste any coffee in... More

Beautiful hotel. Can't get better location. Staff is very helpful in each aspect. Initially got somewhat not so good room so requested change that was handled very professionally by Anastasia at the front desk who then gave us the largest family room in the hotel with beautiful view . Breakfast area is lovely with very good view and great selection... More

I do not know where to start...the hotel was great! The rooms are fun and fantastic. We had an XL loft suite with a great rooftop terrace. Great beds. It was heaven! I also got to see the other rooms/suites, and they are all very spacious and fun! The familirooms have plenty of space for 2+2. Quite a few of... More

Very well located boutique hotel (walking distance to the Plaka) with good-sized rooms, classy and stylish decor. The buffet is absolutely delicious, with a very good assortment of fresh fruit like berries, watermelon, cantaloupe..., super tasty pastries and local delicious food. Staff is very attentive, providing suggestions to the city's many attractions, and they even let us have breakfast a... More

All in all, a good boutique city hotel, perfect when you're going to be out all day sight seeing. Situated within walking distance to the main sights. Rooms are very spacious for a city hotel, we were even lucky enough to have two bathrooms in our room. Hallways are a little tired with stained carpets but the rooms themselves are... More

2 night stay while in Athens. Lovely boutique property with exceptional staff, who are well trained, attentive and eager to please. Great decor with original art which gives the property character and soul. Breakfast exceptional and plentiful. Wifi was painfully slow and unreliable. Our room was lovely, the bathroom standard hotel, with local, organise toiletries (although did suffer from a... More

This hotel is located in an urban setting withiin walking distance to the Plaka and the Acropolis. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and spacious with modern elegant decor. Perfectly suitable for a short stay in Athens.

    Staying in Omonia

    Neighborhood Profile
    Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
