Booked this hotel as a last minute deal in June and we were not disappointed. The hotel was just what we needed, relaxing, quiet with friendly staff. The location for us was ideal, lots of restaurants close by for dinner which gave us a good choice. The hotel pool was large with the usual sun loungers around it. It was... More

We were there for 2 nights and booked a special room full of smurfs just to have something different. The real strength of the hotel lies on its employees. They are super friendly and helpful and threat you like a real guest. Breakfast is very good too and the hotel is in walking distance with all the tourist attractions so... More

This is a true boutique hotel and it is fabulous! From the moment we walked it we were greeted with warmth and porfessionalism. Upon checking in we were told our room was upgraded. The Hotel Manager then promptly greeted us and gave us a tour of the property, explained the amenities and showed us to our room...This was not just... More

Location good, we walked everywhere once arrived. But close to both metro and trains. €50 taxi (late night price, €35 in the day) from the airport and €20 to the Port. Rooms- pleasant, clean, nice toiletries, comfy and free safe etc. Not graffiti room as booking stated and not as nice as the photos, I think it's just starting to... More

Absolute 5 star experience in the heart of Athens. Service was second to none. Rooms clean, quiet and beautifully designed. Breakfast was delicious. Great range of hot and cold to pick from. Would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended. Walking distance to all the sites.

We stayed for two nights in September - great location close walking distance to Plaka, the Acropolis and Metro. Excellent value which included the red open bus tour of the city, Acropolis Museum and an amazing Greek / Western breakfast. Room was a Graffiti room - which had interesting artwork!

Me and my wife came for our honeymoon, and after spending months searching for a nice hotel in Athens I finally discovered Grecotel. From the moment we arrived the staff was extremely hospitable, and the next morning were very helpful in guiding us as we dont speak greek and have never been to Athens. One of the bellman actually walked... More

We stayed at Grecotel for 2 nights and it was the most amazing stay. Hotel had a fun and interesting interior decor...took some tips for my own home decor. The room was very spacious and well decorated, bath products were excellent quality...they were locally made greek products. The breakfast buffet was amazing and being vegetarians, we had plenty of options.... More
