We enjoyed an excellent experience starting from the minute you enter the hotel. The reception staff is very welcoming, the lobby design and room design are unique. The manager went the Extra mile to make our experience enjoyable. The bed and pillows are great, breakfast is good. The location is enjoyable walking distance from main attractions, the only hiccup would... More

Very nice hotel in Athens...you can walk to pretty much everything! Loved the art in the rooms and their breakfast was amazing. We went out at night and it was really safe to walk. There are many restaurants and shops down the street.

I could not fault this place. Just loved the variety at breakfast and the outstanding service from the first email to the parting small gift goodbye. Every person working in this hotel is charming , knowledgeable and keen to make your stay perfect. Haris in particular, was a wealth of knowledge ( obviously a university graduate as he knew so... Pros: Good location in Omonia, walking distance to most attractions. Interesting decor and decent sized rooms (for Europe). Great amenities (Agreco farms brand). Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet and decent bar for drinks. Cons: We booked a room with two twins...when we got there we found out that the twins are both attached to the same headboard, so something to... A hotel that is highly recomend by me. Its a tidy, nice hotel that has nice looking rooms that have a champange and some cookies waiting for you. The breakfast is very good, you can sit inside or outside on the balcony. If your planing family vacation in Athens you should take this hotel.

My daughter and I stayed at the Pallas Athena while traveling to Greece for a family wedding. The hotel was immaculate. The staff were always courteous and eager to help in any way. The hotel is centrally located and convenient for all major attractions. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I highly recommend.

Staying in Omonia

Neighborhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
