Very nice hotel with a very pleasant, friendly and informative staff. I stayed in an executive suite and was then upgraded to an exclusive suite. Great views from the balconies of the Acropolis, Hadrian Arch & Zeus Temple. Loved sitting out on the balcony with a glass of Greek wine taking in the sights. It was also within a close... More

For most Athens visitors, you can't get better than the Plaka location. Central to virtually all of city's archaeological sites and museums. Also, plenty of good shopping and restaurants to choose from. Avoid the hustle and bustle by staying in the center of everything in using your feet.

After 12 days in Greece, we stayed here on our last night before flying back home. The hotel is in a great location, right around the block from Plaka and several tavernas. The WIFI was the strongest I experienced in Greece which was great as I had to check into my flight and arrange my transfers back in NY. Staff... More

Ava Hotel & Suites is a delightful boutique hotel in the Plaka district of Athens just minutes from the shops and restaurants that characterize the area. We had booked suite 301 with its balcony from which we could see both Hadrian's Arch and the rocky hill on which the Acropolis stands. Parking isn't easy here, so we had returned our... More

I had booked 2 rooms for my family of 4 through Expedia at AVA Hotel. My booking showed up as confirmed on my Expedia account. A week before leaving for Athens I sent them an email to tell them that I would arrive around midnight and that they should save rooms for us that are close together. They informed me... More

We just returned from a 2 week vacation in Europe visiting a number of cities/countries. I would have to say that Ava Hotel was the finest we stayed at. All the way from location (walking distance from everything - historic sites, shops, restaurants) to facilities, room size, bathroom size, cleanliness, decor, staff, ambiance, wifi strength and of course breakfast. I... More

Only had one day in Athens so we arrived very early. Although our room was (obviously) not ready at 8:15, the staff was incredibly helpful to help us start our sightseeing. They brought us a tray of coffee and croissants, stored our bags, and gave us helpful hints. The hotel is located in the Plaka area a few blocks from... More

I paid EUR 185.- for one night without breakfast The room was spacious and comfortable. There also was a kitchen corner so one can prepare a meal or breakfast I guess, just used the coffee machine though. My room had a balcony, which is great if you wish to light a cigarette because it is a non-smoking hotel. However, the... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, staff were amazing, helpful and very friendly. Location is the best, just beside the acropolis, near all of the Plaka restaurants. We walked everywhere as everything was so close. The room was lovely and a great size. Thanks for the lovely bottle of wine on arrival to celebrate our birthdays and the... More
