We stayed here mainly based on Trip Advisor Reviews and could not have been happier. Well, maybe if it cost a bit less! This was a wonderful place to stay - close to everything - the Plaka, the Acropolis, the new Acropolis Museum. Very modern and spacious and the service was exceptional. I couldn't recommend it more highly. We were... more

It's hard to add anything different from previous reviews. The Ava Hotel really is in the perfect spot to explore Plaka, the Acropolis, Agora, Syntagma Square etc. It's easy to get to from the airport. We hopped on a bus to Syntagma Square and you stay on it until the end of the ride. It takes 45 minutes or so,... more

We chose the AVA hotel for our stay in Athens after reading the reviews on Trip advisor and we were not disappointed . There could not possibly be a better location in Athens as it was walking distance to the Acropolis, restaurants and is in a very quiet spot. As we had just arrived from Australia and only had two... more

The location was perfect. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was on the first floor which was fantastic. We had the only room one the entire floor and had a private patio. It was a quiet slice of heaven in a busy city. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. more

Couldn't believe my luck with this hotel in Athens, steps from the Akropolis, the Agora, and such friendly, helpful staff. Recommendations for restaurants were top notch--some of the best food I had in Greece. The hotel is lovely and comfortable, in a safe area, a great place to walk in the evening. Athens is a very large city but I... more

This hotel was just perfect. The location could not have been better. The room was very spacious and so was the bath. We had a triple room because our adult son was with us part of the time. From check in to check out the staff was helpful and made us feel like we were coming "home" each time we... more

I just returned from Greece with my wife and two teenage sons and the hotel of the trip was The Ava. Located in the Plaka district the Ava staff is extremely professional, courteous and friendly. The staff tries constantly to assist their guest with any concerns or problems. Their breakfasts are huge and fresh. The rooms (with kitchens) are spacious... more

We stayed at the Ava last month and I can't say enough good things about it. I was part of a group of ten people (friends & family) taking three rooms. The rooms are very nice, easily the largest of any room I've stayed in Europe. The staff was great, very personable and cooperative. They gave us great recomendations for... more

We stayed at this lovely small hotel when in Athens for a conference recently. The conference venue was a few stops away on the fantastic new metro built for the Olympics - its a winner - clean, efficient, safe and cheap and the nearest station just a short walk from the hotel! This hotel is just under the Acropolis, and... more

The AVA Hotel was the right choice for us. We were able to walk or take the Metro to the main sites in Athens, and the Plaka, with it's winding streets and many restaurants and shops, was at our doorstep. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is included in the room price, is served in a beautiful room... more
