Great hotel in center of Plaka - very large rooms, great breakfast, very clean and bright. Very good wifi. Highly recommend it. Virtually anything you want to see in Athens is within easy walking distance.

We stayed at AVA for one night at the end of our 2 week trip in Greece before heading home to NY. We arranged to have a driver from the hotel meet us at the port when we arrived for 30 euros. The driver was standing right there to meet us when we walked off the ferry. When we arrived... More

Stayed here after lots of tripadvisor research and was not disappointed. Stayed in an Executive Suite - plenty of room and kitchen. It's a small hotel with staff and service that feels more personal then most experiences these days. Breakfast was very good - Andrea made sure that we were well served. The location is in the midst of the... More

Stayed at AVA for 3 nights during a month long tour of Greece. It was absolutely perfect; amongst the best accommodations I've come across anywhere. Staff were all a delight - happy to help with anything that was required. Had it not been that they were fully booked, I would have happily extended my stay for another week. I will... More

We just stayed at AVA for three nights: the room was immaculate, the service extraordinary, breakfast was superb, and the location to the ancient Greek sites was perfect. What more could you want? Definitely worth upgrading to a suite and including breakfast.

Great location near sights and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. What more can I say? However, Tripadvisor wants me to say more. It was wonderful to come out of the hotel, look left and see Zeus' Temple.

We took a short break to Athens and booked at the Ava. Couldn't of been more pleased. Lovely & helpful staff (Petros is the best!), spacious and quite well appointed rooms. Literally a short walk from everything! We will return - and highly recommend to friends. Truly a gem. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Was not disappointed. Very high quality room, at reasonnable price (200 euros a night). The same would probably be priced 350-500 euros in major cities of Western Europe, Geneva for example. Not knowing what to expect, I had rented an executive suite - acropolis view [52m²/560ft² with balcony]. It happened to be so good, that I would say it was... More

Everything is prefect, the staff is extremely helpful and courteous, we got upgraded to a bigger suite than we booked and the view is just awesome ! But I just wish they had told us at the time of booking that there is renovation going on in the hotel.... The tariff certainly didn't reflect it!

One of the downside of choosing one the trip advisor top ranked hotel in a city is that is becomes difficult to write an original review. This is the case for the AVA hotel in Athens. Let’s just say that we had an excellent stay there in October. The location is excellent as you can easily reach on foot most... More
