We stayed in the Melia in Athens for 3 nights recently. It is a lovely hotel which is very close to the centre of Athens city and a short ride to the Plaka, a meca for the souvenir hunter. The Plaka also holds some great restaurants (eg Ydria). The rooms were very comfortable and the service was excellent. We recommend... More

We recently stayed in the Melia Hotel in Athens. Their website shows views of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar. It also shows a rooftop swimming pool and it also shows a lovely looking bar downstairs. If you are planning to go to this hotel, you may wish to note that none of these facilities are open until May; some... More

Clean and spacious room with a Jacuzzi bath! The location was great for shopping and sightseeing. Also the nearest metro station is only about 10min walk. Friendly staff. I didn't feel unsafe at all, because of all the police in the area

We were in Athens end of March, stayed in this hotel. Hotel is on a nice location. All major historical sights and city centre are in walking distance (30 min or so). In March is vary nice weather not cold but not too hot (round 20-25C) so walking is not a problem. Room was comfortable and clean. The view from... More

Stayed at the Melia Athens for business and I have to say we managed to get a great deal through Hotels.com. The hotel staff are very good - pleasant, helpful and friendly. During our stay, not all the facilities were open - probably because of it being out of season and so few guests in the hotel. It would have... More

The last stop of my holidays in Greece was at Athens, and I made a superb choise, Melia! The hotel is located in the center of Athens and I had the opportunity to visit the most popular attractions in a short period of time. The hotel was clean and calm and the facillities were great. We would like to thank... More

Definitely recommend this hotel if you stay in Athens. Staff is really friendly and helpful, the room was clean and with a perfect shower. Also, they upgraded my room for an superior one with a jacuzzi! Nice hotel, go there!
