The hostel is very good. Room is clean, the private bathroom is good. Apart from the handheld shower. Location is amazing. Right in front the flea market. Nest to lots of shops and the metro. The acropolis, agora, syntagma square are right there. There's no shared kitchen. But with a good 2€ kebab right next to it, who cares? Great... More

We were originally going to stay at another hotel, but arrived to find it inhabitable. We searched around and found this little hostel in the heart of busy Monastiraki. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and found us a room (family of 4 - kids aged 9 & 12). The room was small with 2 sets of bunkbeds, and... More

The hostel is very clean and there was cleaning servuce everyday. The beds were comfortable and the room was always warm (we went in winter). Also the hostel's location is excellent. The only downside is that the room we stayed in (4 bed mix with its own bathroom) was very cramped. But, overall, for its very cheap prices its a... More

Good value, great rooftop bar overlooking the acropolis, short walk to main area/shopping/nightlife and clean bathrooms. I ended up back here 3 times because they were so helpful. Would recommend to all ages!

Fantastic location and very knowledgable and helpful staff. Pella-Inn is situated right in the heart of the Monsastiraki area. It is near to a good selection of places to sample greek cuisine. You can easily walk to the ancient Agora and the hotel does a great free walking tour as well. What really impressed me the most was the knowledgability... More

Really well located, close to the metro station and to Monastiraki square which is full of restaurants and bars. It is also close to a huge and beautiful flea market. Also, the Agora is few metres away. From the roof bar you can see the Acropolis and you have a free welcome shot, as well as cheap beer. A super... More

At least the Location is good -Extremely close to all the action but that also means it is incredibly noisy at night, between the traffic on the street and the live music/partying at Monistiraki Square until 4 am every night and the walls are super thin so when the other hostel guests come back at 4 am to continue the... We got room 26 with bathroom, i asked for two separate beds, we got one large bed. On the wall behind the bathroom door was terrible mold from the allways wet bathroom. We ask for different room, they have just room with shared bathroom which was also poor. Only good thing sbout this hotel is the location in center.

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
