More a hostel than a "hotel" but still great! Easy walk to the main shopping streets and quick walk to the Acropolis. Nice clean rooms. Only downsides are that there are no lockers in the room- they are down a floor- and the toilet and showers are in the room and are a little cramped. Otherwise enjoyed it!

Small dorms, no common areas, breakfast not included, staff could be doing with learning more info on tours and local activities. Clean and well located though. Lockers available downstairs for €1 per day for any bags. Bar on top floor with great view.

Well first of all I was pick-pocketed on my way from the Metro station to the hostel, at midnight, so please be extremely careful with your possessions. This is a popular tourist area, the thieves know it and are always looking for targets, particularly stupid ones who walk out of the Metro and immediately start taking photos of the Parthenon.... We decided to stay overnight flying through Athens to visit the Acropolis. The Pella Inn was excellent choice. We have booked one bed room (this is hostel) and we got 4th floor with balcony and Acropolis view. They have also roof top bar with nice view and free welcome shot. Even they are hostel-kind of accommodation, their one bed rooms... More

I've stayed at a number of hostels in my travels, but so far this was the one that felt the most hotel-ish. It was a very modern and newly renovated room in a way that made me feel like they'd spent more money on designing it than is usually done on hostels. There was even a little balcony and and... We have been traveling all over Europe and stayed in many Hostels. This is the worst. Ok it was clean, but not enough room for humans in the 4 person room. Bathroom does not have shower or tub. Drain in floor next to toilet with shower spray 3 feet from floor. Are we to sit on toilet to shower? We... More

I stayed at Pella four different times during my month or so in Greece. It feels like home! The staff are friendly and helpful, everything is kept really clean. I was impressed by the building and decor, little things; brand new shower heads, gorgeous doors to the showers and bathrooms, an elevator, marble/stone? (excuse my lack of distinction) floors and... Loved this hostel, met some great people that my sisters and I ended up spending the day with in Athens. Highly recommend the free walking tour. Rooftop bar for the sunset and hanging out is perfect! Great bakery up the side road if you take a left out of Pella, get the donuts they are UNREAL. Highly recommend. Only issue... More

Set in a prime location it's in a perfect place to go and explore all that Athens has to offer. It has a rooftop bar which is good and it even looks out over the Acropolis. They could make better use of the bar by hosting social events but that's me being picky. The showers could also do with being... More

I loved this place. The location could hardly better. Smack bang in the middle of all of the important touristy locations. The staff were super nice and created a great atmosphere. The rooftop bar was soooo good for meeting other people and what a view. The rooms were as you'd expect in a hostel, nice and clean with decent showers... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
