The Pella Inn is centrally located on Ermou Street and within walking distance to just all the major attractions. The room was nice, clean, and small. The bathroom was a bit small and there was no division between the shower and the toilet. When you showered, water would go everywhere. Luckily it dries relatively fast and wasn't a huge concern.... Pros: - Really close to the touristic spots of the city; - Wifi is great. Cons: - Although it is really close to the touristic spots, its specific location doesn't feel very safe, specially at night; - Rooms are very small - Bathrooms are EXTREMELY small and there is no cabin for the shower so every time someone uses it... The rooms and the bathrooms are really small. The beds are bunk type and one cannot sit upright on the lower level beds. There is free wi-fi and the view of the Acropolis from the roof is fabulous. There is no breakfast provided. The location is less than desirable although it is close to the city centre.

Good stay great location. Dorm was good with Windows for fresh air and heat for cold nights. Door lock was difficult to open for most guests and no locks on the bathroom door which can all be fixed. Strong wifi and locker storage in the hall. No kitchen to use tho.

Very nice location. So close to the attraction. Although not so happy about the security, overall a very decent hotel within this price range. The rooftop view is great. Gladly will recommend to the travelers who run with the budget.

Stayed at The Pella Inn for three nights and it exceeded our expectations. Superb location, just a minute from Monastiraki where you can find patisseries to have breakfast or a coffee, souvlaki places and a market to buy local products. If you like walking around, this hotel is placed perfectly because you won't need transport to visit the town center... More

This hotel is awesome! Came from different hostels throughout Greece that were disgusting and had terrible beds! This place has amazing soft beds, plump pillows, rooms are modern as is the bathroom, location is perfect for sightseeing, very clean, great views, shower has great pressure, doors to our private balcony open multiple ways (so unique!), mirror is massive in the... Super friendly staff accommodated us upon a very early arrival. Hotel rooms in the 4th floor are superb, a great surprise. Amazing views of Acropolis! Perfect value for money as you'll be directly in the center of Athens :) The rooftop bar makes difficult to sleep between 22 and 4AM. Keep this in mind if you are looking for a... More

Ideal location, conveniently located near Monastiraki station and nearby landmarks. Small lift able to accommodate 2 people. Good wifi. Room is small but ok for this price. Staff was not so friendly. Will consider alternative if return to Athens.

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
