I stayed for three nights in the Elysium Design. Although I was on a tight budget I was still surprised by the horrible condition of the place. Rooms measure around 3m x 3m with the most uncomfortable and very narrow single bed I have ever been on. The shower was filthy and I had to wash it down myself before... more

After we have spent all our money in Santorini $450 Euro per night (3 nights) on our Honeymoon, we booked this hotel because of its good price and we saw some "nice" photos of how modern it is (interior). They do look good on photos, but certainly it's another thing in real life. Basically, the whole building was like 100... more

I've stayed at this hotel several times, it's great for a night or two if you're passing through Athens. The hotel is tiny, and the rooms are neat and quite small. Decor is pleasant and modern, and there are some funky furniture features in the hallways. The rooms are clean, but beware of dusty floors because of the location next... more

Booking: We booked through last minute. The photos of the hotel seemed quite nice and the price was very good. I don't remember reading bad reviews of it so we booked it. When we got to the hotel we found that the information displayed on the website was wrong and misleading. We decided to go to another hotel the next... more

I have really mixed feelings about this hotel. I liked many things about it but always something spoiled the impression. My general rate should be neutral then. I know that some people, including the locals of Athens were not impressed by the neighbourhood of the hotel. I usually returned to the hotel after midnight but did not feel really unsecure.... more

Yesterday I returned from a 3 nights staying at the hotel Elysium in the chain Best Western. I am astonished how much can some pictures give the impression about a hotel that it might be what in fact it isn't. The room had all the endwonments, but too small. The heating was assured by an air conditioner device - even... more

After reading the reviews here on TA, we were a bit disappointed with the Elysium. Location was central--close to Omonia metro stop--but a bit dodgy: the smell of urine, the site of homeless and heaps of garbage, and the constant sound of honking cars detracted from our stay. Also, with regards to the "design" of which Elysium prides itself, some... more

We spent 3 night at this Hotel. The rooms are the standard European size. The room was clean and bedding changed daily. The bathroom is small but nice. There is a touch of color and modern design in the room and in the hall way on each floor. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor. You can take winding stairs or... more
