We stayed at City Circus Hostel Athens for one night before heading on to Santorini! The train from the airport took too long (compared to other parts in Europe) so if I had my chance again I would pay the little extra to catch a taxi! The Hostel is a 10 min (at the most) walk from the train station,... More

Stayed here for two nights on our way to Naxos and on our return to Athens. Fairly central location in up and coming area. Wonderfully quirky hostel. Exceptionally clean, super healthy breakfast. Big thanks to Christos Stamelos who went out of his way to find me a dentist for emergency root canal work at 1am. He also organised the taxi.... More

The best hostel I've ever visited. The rooms are amazingly new, the breakfast is fantastic (with Greek yogurt, fruits and honey!) and the decoration is very cute. It's a cozy and warm place for you to sleep whilst visiting Athens. I'm definitely coming back.

I really loved this hostel, its great, clean, friendly staff, amazing breakfast with great Greek Yogurt (Of Course!)... the location is about a 10 minute walk from the metro which goes directly to the port or airport... My biggest complaint is that they charged me 1 Euro to store my bag for three hours when I stayed there 4 nights...... More

I have been to many hostels during my travels and rarely do I encounter a really good hostel like this one. The location is great being close to the Metro and other public transportation. In the middle of a bohemian district full of coffee places and bars. Walking distance to the Acropolis and other important sight seeing in the city.... More

Had a great stay here, even though it was for a short time, we were in the heart or close to the heart of all the action we wanted to be!! The rooftop gives a great view of the Parthenon giving you a great chance to photograph it at night!! City circus looks like it's just been refurbished, has an... More

My stay in city circus hostel was my first hostel experience and let's just say that it has set the bar for other hostels! We were greeted by Carmen who was very helpful and the hostel felt like home. Our room was spacious with air con and a safe. The bed comfy and the bathroom adequate for a two night... More

I chose to stay in a hostel to meet people my first night in Athens. I cannot rave enough about this hostel. This was my first existence and they set the bar high. It was in a great location and I was able to walk to and from bars and the major sites in the area. The street surrounding the... More

The City Circus is a beautifully newly-renovated building (or two) in an area which varies from relaxing café strip to down at heel. We were shocked to discover the hostel even has an elevator, a first for us in Greece but a welcome change for the luggage portage. We enjoyed a roomy double with a little balcony over the street.... I stayed here for a night in August 2014. I usually do not stay at hostels. I usually enjoy staying at leading hotels in a certain city but decided to give this a shot as I had friends staying there as well. I have to admit that the accomodations were quite good. It was walking distance to a lot of... More
