Beds were so hard we couldn't sleep. Rooms stunk of smoke and the reception were so unhelpful when requesting information for tours and site seeing. They gave us a booklet told us to choose a tour and wouldn't even give info about what would suit us as a family of 5. We were booked on a night tour for 63.50... More

Overall the stay was good regarding cleanliness and comfort but staff attitude left something to be desired. A staff member opened our room door while we were sleeping and music from the roof party was overly loud. When I call reception to just report this the staff person I talked with said "What do you want me to do about... More

Great location and staff. Best part of the room. Wooden flooring, not cold on the feet. Room is spacious, with breakfast is delicious. Location is very center ( very near temple of zeus ) . Elevator is very classy hehehe

We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday afternoon, after a busy morning. At the reception desk we had to face a difficult and disappointing situation that our on-line reservation has been cancelled by BOOKING. Although the hotel was almost fully booked, the extremely polite staff managed to provide us with an alternative solution and make us enjoy our stay... More

This was our first hotel stay during our recent 7 weeks European trip. After tolerating 25 hours in aircraft it was wonderful to be greeted by friendly and professional staff. Our 3rd floor room with a balcony and double glazing [5th floor room on our return at the end of September] provided all we needed. Beds were acceptably comfortable and... More

I was disappointed by the hotel, the website presentation is completely different to that what you will get. For me the biggest disappointment: dirty bathroom (mold, old shower curtain), the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but the staff at the breakfast restaurant was horrible (they have not allowed free seating in the breakfast room, w/o any reason, it... In the case of Calliroe the staff is polite, friendly and very efficient. They seem very well trained and they respond to any kind of request with attention and smile. The hotel itself is not very new and has some minor problems here and there.. But with the staff's attentiveness everything is sorted out fast. The amazing, almost 360 view... More

Callirhoe is the name of the most famous spring in ancient Athens. It was constructed around 550 B.C. on the location of the present hotel. Virgins would collect the water from this spring for their pre-nuptial weddingbath. The hotel is located on one of the busiest thoroughfares of Athens at a crossroads with trafficlights. 20 % of the traffic in... More
