Hotel was nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable and we found the hotel to be noisy. Overall ok but I likely would not return. Very close to the Acropolis and Parthenon and the garden lounge has a killer view of the Parthenon lit up at night

I stayed on a business trip. Given the price, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The public areas are very nicely appointed, definitely quite upmarket compared to many hotels in this price range. I was impressed with my room on the 6th floor - it was nicely furnished, a reasonable size, and was kept very clean. The bathroom was also well... More

Our tour organiser rated this hotel as a 4star but it definitely wasn't that level. The foyer and rooftop garden are done out very well but the interior of the hotel is only so so. The desk staff were friendly and helpful but the chaps they sent to assist with anything were very surly. The gym is incredibly hot, wasn't... More

We stayed overnight before departing for our tour of Greece and then returned for a further four nights. The staff were fabulous, always polite and friendly. The breakfast was good but the juicer was messy and should be operated by staff as a lot of people couldn't work it. The room was comfortable enough and the rooftop restaurant was excellent,... More

This hotel tries. My room was spacious with a nice terrace. The location is excellent, adjacent to Plaka and the Acropolis. The roof restaurant was a definite plus with great views and surprisingly excellent food. In this cut of many hotels, are there better choices? If course but, for the money, it is a good option.

We had a wonderful tour of the Greek Isles recently. Both hotels on the islands were top notch, but we were disappointed in the Athenian Callirhoe Hotel in Athens. Rugs in hallways and rooms were stained and dirty. Beds were rock hard. Our TV didn't work, so we inquired at the desk and they said they would be up to... More

We stayed in a suite, and it was well worth it. Beware the elevator is very tiny, but does the job. Our suite was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was fabulous! We were able to walk to all the sites easily. I highly recommend eating at the rooftop restaurant. It was our anniversary, so we decided to... More

The hotel is in a great location for a number of tourist icons. However the cleanliness of the hotel rooms leaves a lot to be desired. We stayed our first two days in Athens on the 2nd floor of The Athenian Callirhoe Hotel and was amazed at the state of the floor covering. Then went on a 4-day trip staying... More

on the whole i would normally have rated the hotel as average but they have an amazing roof bar and restaurant with fantastic views of the city and it is worth staying in the hotel for this alone. especially if you are going on business like me.

We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise. The front desk staff and wait staff were absolutely great. They helped us with any thing we asked. The room was in good condition and likely recently renovated. It was quite roomy for a European Hotel room. The bar and restaurant on the rooftop have a fabulous view of the Acropolis.... More
