We had booked this hotel for five people by booking online . When we reached this hotel at night we were told the hotel is full and can not accommodate people in-spite of confirmed booking and we were told to go to another hotel which was far away from this place. It is located in one or the shadiest place... More

Stayed at the Filoxenia Hotel for two nights. Patio door wouldn't lock. Lock broken. Girl on reception 'tried' but failed to persuade me to take the room anyway, but It wasn't her cases that could have been stolen. Pathetic! She said that the maintenance chap would fix the lock the following day. Surprise, surprise, he didn't turn up. Door handles... More

We stayed at the Filoxenia Hotel for three nights. It cost us 20 Euro a room a night. This is the best value I have ever gotten for that price. the Hotel is slightly old and worn. The rooms were simple, but impeccably clean. The bathroom, in spite of its age was also spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More

I am just back from this hotel and would not recommend anyone stay here. The hotel is less than basic in fact it is the worst hotel i have ever been in. The bed was terrible and springs almost through the mattress shower was shocking not even a shower curtain or stand for the head and the breakfast included was... More

Room is small and old. Location is convenient as main station Larissa is walking distance of around 10 minutes. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Breakfast is ok but repetitive so you tend to get bored with same stuff everyday. Free internet is helpfull. Would recommend those looking for budget plus locality. This is not for people who is looking... More

Not set in the best area, butclean and basic 35 euro's per night. Initial room 402 was noisy and had a view of a wall. Asked to change and noproblem moved us to 802 which was quieter and had a view over the rooftops to the lycabettos. Receptionist also told us of a very good restaurant prinicipally used by locals

The hotel is located in a very multi-ethnic street called Axarnon, almost you can't find even one Greek man or woman on this street, even the shops and shop keepers are all strange foreigners. It's really not safe to walk late at night alone on this street. There is a bus station in front of the hotel and there is... More

I stayed at the Filoxenia Aug 8-11, then on Aug25-26, having booked it based on two criteria: location and price. I paid 42 euro per night for the first stay, and 40 euro for the second stay. I had rm 104 which gives onto the street so I changed the next day to 108 which was better. I had rm... More
