It is a small cute hotel in the heart of Plaka. It is nearby all the touristic places in Athens. It has a good view of Acropolis, if you're lucky, you can get a room with a balcony overlooking it. Overall, its a good hotel if you're looking for a good location.

We stayed in a double room on the second floor. The room was spacious enough, as well as clean and cosy. The bathroom was small, but it didn't bother us, since it was recently renovated and clean. I don't think people need a huge bath wen going on a city break. However, the hotel was a bit noisy, and it seemed... More

We arrived at the hotel in the evening. The welcome was good, it looked like a house (not bad for an hotel near the center of Acropolis), but the lift was too small, we hardly fit with our luggage, but that does't let us down, we were in Athens for god sake! But then, even though there is plenty of... More

This was perfect for us as I was travelling with my daughter and wanted to stay in a quiet and safe area. Close to main square Syntagma. Clean rooms, great location, close to transport, great for shopping and sightseeing. Has a beautiful view off the roof top breakfast room. Would definitely go again and would recommend it.

Perfectly located near the foot of the Acropolis, with a view of the Parthenon from the cozy rooftop bar. Clean, well-equipped rooms, friendly and efficient staff with excellent command of English. Hard to imagine a better choice at a reasonable price. We definitely look forward to our return. As an added bonus, there is a superb, intimate wine bar just... More

Excellent location in the heart of Plaka, easy walk to all shops and restaurants, 5/10 mins to Syntagma Square and Acroplis. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent wifi, clean rooms and a massive balcony. The view from the rooftop... just amazing. The bar lady insisted we sit down and she will come serve us... with a cold frosted glass. Great service.... More

I stayed there for 3 nights and mostly I used the hotel just for shower and sleep...The location is very favorable, walking distance (around 1km) from Monastriki Square, 5 minutes walking distance from Syntagma Square and of course with Akropolis view from the rooftop. Due to economic conditions, they prefer 100% cash payment, however we negotiated to pay 50-50 cash... More

The pictura doesn't show The reality of The place The only thing good about this place is The location in The touristic area, Plaka. It's expensive for what it offers. Poor breakfast, and The bathroom is too small. And what I must Say about cleaning? IT wasn't clean at all. I wouldn't come back if I visit Athens again.

A very nice hotel close to the city centre. Good price and a fantastic view over Acropolis from the breakfast. Extra plus with nice and pleasent service from the scottish woman. The room was small but fresh. If you stay in the upper room you get the view to Acropolis. If you take the cheaper rooms on the bottom it's... More

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by a lovely gentlemen called Yianni. He was so helpful and friendly and very funny. He helped us find all the places we wanted to visit and gave us good tips. The price for what you get is a little on the expensive side, the rooms are good but the shower... More

Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
