Adonis hotel is located in a nice area (Plaka). Beautiful view to Akroplis from the roof top. Very friendly staff. Lot of noise from walking area - every sound came through the walls and door. In our room at 4th floor, Air Condition is controlled from reception, not very smart! Stayed also in 205 - here the AC was self... More

This hotel (really a hostel) was the only low point on my amazing holiday in Greece. The establishment is so noisy I could hear both neighbours simultaneously at 3:00 am!! The cleaning lady then came at 9:00 am to complete a night with little sleep. The room was small and the bathroom so tiny, you have to stand outside to... More

I don't recommend this hotel. It is very, very loud so it is difficult to sleep (mostly internal noise from the hotel, but also some street noise). The location is very convenient, and the breakfast is okay (nothing special). They control the air-conditioning at reception, so you can be either blasted with cold air or baking with heat and you... Stayed here last May 2014 en route to Santorini. The hotel facilities were very good - our room has a balcony, no decent views out of it but has been maintained tidy and clean. The bathroom was very cozy with minute sinks. Noise levels can be average at some nights which can be disruptive though overall we had decent sleeps.... More

This hotel had a great location (easy walk to the Acropolis, restaurants and shopping). The rooms were well lit, clean, the bathrooms okay. We were on the first floor with no view. However the roof bar had a fantastic view and great service. The staff were helpful. Our biggest issue was that noise seemed to carry too well. You can... More

The Adonis Hotel is an average hotel (or maybe a little bit better, but not four stars). The price is okay and the location is very good. You can walk to the metro station Syntagma, that has a direct connection to the airport (nr. 3), and to the most important sights (such as acropolis and its new museum, ancient and... More

We stayed here for five nights in May 2014. The location in Plaka is in the historic and tourist-oriented, older part in the centre of Athens. It is a clean, safe and friendly neighbourhood, picturesque, and easy access to all that you would want to do in Athens. It is only 10-15 minutes walk from the Acropolis (which you can... More

We stayed at the Adonis Hotel for five nights total, split up during our visit to Greece. This was where we came back to whenever we were in Athens. We reserved it early and specified a room with a view of the Acropolis. When we first got to our room the first night and opened the curtains, there was the... More

This small hotel is located in Plaka, in the very centre of Athens only 10-15 minutes by walking from the Akropolis, only a few minutes from plenty of tavernas and shops and approximately 5 minutes from Sintagma square from where the train to airport arrives/departs. The position could not be better. The room was very small for three persons and... More

Last year, I had made the right choice in going there so I want back and I was right. True that the location is perfect but they are other hotels in the area. True that you can take your breakfast overlooking the Acropolis but I guess this is not the place. The difference is : Georges, Nikos, Giannis and Sandra…... More
