The location was great in that it was in walking distance of downtown and was close to the metro. The neighborhood was ok during the day - but walking at night required a heightened sense of vigilance. The room was small ... :( I couldn't open the closet doors due to the bed being too close... I was solo -... More

They are very cooperative and friendly people, they helped me a lot to get my needs done, the location is very good since it is in city center very near ti amonia square which has every thing you may need in addition to the famous souvlaki sandwiches

First, think twice before you decide to stay here because location of this hotel is a little "sketchy" to be kind. It is a convient walking distance to the major sights however not safe at night if you have kids. Next, bathroom was small and bath tub water drained poorly. Later in our stay, even the sink to wash hands... More

this hotel was near omonia square, which i found out later is quite a high crime area in downtown athens, although every time i walked through the square late at night, there were quite a few police around the square. The hotel had shabby looking rooms, nothing seemed new at all. I had to change rooms once because of poor... More

It's not a bad hotel but it could get better with some details! The bed was really comfy and the room was clean and nice! The bathroom needs more attention needed better shower and the water was like one minute hot and the other minute cold so it was not easy for me to have a shower! Also the pressure... More

The room and staff were great, but the location dragged the whole place down unfortunately. Omonia is not the nicest spot and it is worth getting the metro so you don't have to walk through that part of Athens in the evening. You can avoid it by getting a tube ticket for your stay (we got a €20 72 hour... More

very loud, air conditioning doesn't work, but good location, nice breakfast, wi fi. hotel is quite old and its pictures are a bit misleading Pretty close to the main attractions of Athens and about 20 min walk to the bus that goes to the airport.

The hotel is not really in a good condition, the toilet door was too big for the place that toilet can offer and the shower was in a poor condition. In yhe other hand the bed were clean and confortable but it wasn't possible to have a braekfast after half past nine.

Since I work in a hotel, I usually don't pay in advance because I know how these things works. All hotels in the world have nice pictures on tripadvisor. Before staying in achillion hotel I visited some others in plaka neighborhood and they were just horrendous. The first night I had to stay in one of them because it got... More
