Non-existent internet, no smoke alarms in some rooms, horrid, staircase is about to fall apart to the top rooms, runs out of hot water for showers, kitchen non existent, some doors not safe, smells bad, unsafe wiring, weak bunk beds, no barriers on top bed, disgusting bathrooms, only pros are the staff and location.

Zorbas Hostel is certainly worth the 7.50 Euros in winter. The beds, blankets, pillows, washrooms, showers, and common area are all decent, especially considering the low cost. The rooms are very clean but get a bit cold at night in the winter, so you might have to ask for a second blanket. Staff is friendly and helpful, and nearby Victoria... More

As a college student studying abroad this was the perfect place to stay!! My girlfriends and I felt safe staying in this hostel, we had our own bathroom and the staff was very friendly and helpful!! There is free wifi and they also have two computers you can use for free with internet access. We would definitely stay here again!!!... More

This is not a Hotel, but a Hostel very old and messy. The people isn't friendly and for me the big problem was when I went to use the kitchen doesn't have more than one glass. Me and my friend had to share one glass. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect welcoming, nice rooms (but beds not so comfortable), good place, near Victoria metro station. Price of rooms is correct, but there is no breakfast included. The neighborhood is nice and safe (but kind of dirty, like all athens).

You kinda get what you pay for here. Think we paid about 8-10€/person for one night. The bunkbeds were made of wood, and they were pretty old. So if your bunk-buddy started to breath it feels like an earthquake. Working AC and Wifi. There are two computers that you are able to use, free of charge. Didn't notice it at... More

Poor wifi, skeezy bartenders and very difficult to get into our room with the key. Other than that it was good and there were lots of free welcome shots and free computer use. Great for the price and excellent location near the subway. Was a fun time.

I paid 12 EUR per night for bunk in a 5 person dormitory. Good news is: - it had office quality carpet - decent quality bed - theres quality air-conditioning inside the room - the staff are friendly and helpful - there's a bathroom inside the same room Bad news is: - it costs 1.4 EUR each way to and... Zorbas Hotel was around 8 euros a night, so you get what you pay for. The hotel was somewhat clean, however there were no lockers. They have two computers with free internet, as well as free wifi. There's also a bar in the hotel. It's a good way to save money for a short stay in Athens.

Very cheap, clean, friendly staff, quiet, close to metro and Victoria Square (where the southwest corner had a family restaurant with great home cooked local food - red checked table cloths- moussaka was best ever but beware because it usually runs out at lunch time so we went again the next day for lunch after the archeology museum which was...
