We decided to go to this hotel because is near from the metro station to go to Piraeus port (400 mts) and is near from the main attractions in Atenas. You can go walking. The hotel is good and the service is excellent. We stayed there two nights in different days. The first time we had to leave the room... More

The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the Monastiraki metro station and within walking distance of all attractions in Athens (if you like to walk). The hotel is well kept up and the staff were very accommodating. Rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast has a diversity of food and the eating area overlooks the Acropolis which is beautiful. There... The hotel was great - very nice entrance and lobby, and the room was nice with a balcony. Our view was of the Acropolis - very nice. The bathroom was cramped and showering in Greece is different than the US due to the lack of water resources, but overall we were pleased with the room. The wifi was great and... More

We stayed there just for a night coming from Mykonos and going back to London very early next morning, so I can only speak about the terrace, with nice sunset views over the Acropolis, the staff, very kind and helpful, they booked our taxi, called for waking up and made us a breakfast lunchbox, which we felt like a very... This hotel is in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from Monastiraki metro station and the rooftop offers a spectacular view of not just the Acropolis, but most of Athens as well. The chairs and loungers up on the roof allow you to take in the scenery and also top up your tan. Breakfast was delicious and was... More

Finding the hotel was easy a short 10-15 min walk from the Metro, you walk through a neighborhood filled with gravity, if this makes you uncomfortable try not to arrive after dark (there was no indication it's unsafe). Checkin was smooth and the room is spacious. I was on the 6th floor and my balcony had a view of the... More

Took my Mother to Athens for her 70th Birthday and stayed 3 nights at The Evripides Hotel. Stayed also with my 3 Sisters who are widely travelled and all agreed that this hotel should be a 3 star or even more. Clean, tidy, well organised, great Staff, wonderful views of the Acropolis, fantastic breakfast, vibrant and cultured neighbourhood, very close... More

This hotel is well located. You can go to all the main sights on foot. The area is not the best, the walls are painted and there is poor lighting at night. Be careful that some rooms have half a bathtub with no curtain, and others have very thin walls, you can hear neighbours and peoples luggage pass bye the... More

Worth every penny. Hotel in apparent run down area but in really easy walk of centre and safe. Restaurants very close at hand. Hotel is very clean. New towels every day and sheets changed twice in five days. Breakfast simple buffet style ...no fried breakfast and perfectly ok . This hotel is friendly and a bargain . Receptionist allowed us... Nice hotel, nice people, nice price. Shame we did not get the room we explicitly asked for. (6th floor has balkony with akropolis view) The area might seem dodgy, but it gives you a glimpse of real life in Athens - not the tourisitc attractive version only. Walking distance to many ancient venues, they give you a map and will... More
