We stayed here one night and mostly picked the hotel for the acropolis view, price, and breakfast. The breakfast was actually quite large with something for everyone. Cereal, toast, yogurt, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, ham, croissants, boiled eggs, coffee, juice and assorted honey and jams. It's nice to eat outside with the acropolis view. The room was nice enough. No real... More

They place had great location and it wasn't noicy. It has nice rooftop bar in the evenings and breakfast place for the mornings with the view to Acropolis. The facilities are ok and staff friendly. It's not the newest place, but ok. I think was ok price hotel.

If you plan to spend all of your time in the hotel during your stay in Athens, then this is not the hotel for you. If you have no desire in interacting with the community of Athens, then this is not the hotel for you. If you wish to have dine-in room service and eat only at a hotel restaurant,... More

Good points - helpful staff, OK breakfast, free wi-fi in rooms - not always such a strong signal but ok, great view of Acropolis from 7th floor, location - close to Monistiraki and Acropolis, good AC. Drawbacks - as many have already mentioned, the neighborhood is not nice. If you see graffiti and think "creative artists around" - you'll love... More

Feel like a local in Athens, just around the corner from the hotel is a lovely restaurant and bar strip of Psiri, 7 mins from monastiraki station and square where there is activity day and night. The hotel it's self seems like it is in a dirtier area of the city, however we didn't come across trouble day or night,... More

Booked this hotel based on the TA reviews and because it was less than £100 for three nights. The hotel itself isnt bad, the communal areas are quite nice and the rooftop bar is a nice touch. It has an elevator, albeit a quite outdated one which fits 3 people max at a time. Even in the communal areas which... More

Yes, the area around the hotel is shabby, there is graffiti in the streets but don't let that put you off staying here. I stayed here first of all last September 2013 and again in May 2014. The authorities are trying there best to ensure the streets in this area are cleaned up - There was a remarkable lack of... More

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is clean and good value for money. Close to station and Plaka, but in a rundown, tired and derelict area. However, as two older ladies , we never felt threatened. Breakfast was adequate . View from breakfast balcony of Acropolis was lovely. As a budget Hotel , we found it friendly , comfortable and... The reviewer who said "better than the environment" is right on. On the one hand, it is right in the center of Athens, minutes away by foot from Acropolis, from shopping, and other sights, so in that sense the location is very good. On the other hand, it's right in the middle of a slum - there's no other way... More

The rooms are clean, but sparse. It is great value for money, but not luxurious. Everything was clean and worked. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic for getting around Athens on foot. Very close to the fabulous Monistiraki markets. The view from the rooftop bar is stunning. SO nice to sit up there with a bottle... More
