I found this hotel with excellent ratings via Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. Although the Evripides is in a run down area with plenty of grafitti, but we did not feel threatened, even at night. In fact we only saw two people sleeping rough in the whole time we were in Athens and they weren't in the street close... More

The Euripides is located in a convenient part of town, and the rooms have great balconies looking out onto the acropolis. That's about it for the good stuff. It smells of moth balls, the rooms are tiny and badly decorated, bathrooms impractical, breakfast an industrial packaged goods spread. It's not good value for money but it's not cheap either. I... It’s a basic hotel offering a good bed & clean sheets in order to rest after a full day of visiting Athens. The immediate neighborhood is a bit scary, but no events were recorded. There are policemen all over the area. For parking - it is free and available only if you announce the reception in your request for booking.... More

from balcony (room 606) there is a fantastic view to Acropolis. Room is clean, with all facilities. Breakfast is basic and good. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Area surrounding the hotel so desperately needs renovation, but we felt us safe to come back at night. Hotel is close to all main see-sightings, and is about 5-7... More

we stayed at Evripides Hotel for 5 nights in August. The area surrounding the Hotel was not the nicest places to be, but we didn't let that put us off and overall we didn't generally feel in danger out and about (day or night). The Hotel itself is about 7 minutes walk from the Monasteraki metro station which is very... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in total while passing through Athens. Hotel is quite basic, reasonable size, comfortable beds, air-conditioning and mini bar. Small bathroom and only hand held shower. Staff were quite friendly and accommodating with organising taxi's, directions etc. Found that the hotel was a little out of the city and being a female definitely wouldn't... More

Clean, close to facilities in Athen, possible to eat standard breakfast. But typical two stars hotell. Little rooms, some noices and no facilities. The hotell is situated in area where I would never had to walk alone home in the night-scary.

We can't say anything positive about our staying in this hotel--despite our reservation they didn't have room for us. We are young couple we were travelling for holidays to Greece and Athens was the last stop.We just came there for one night(saturday night)cuz we had flight at the morning from Athens to home.So we were looking some hotel close to... Very economic hotel near Plaka (7 min walk) The hotel is very simple but clean. Very helpful and nice staff. Good view to the acropole in the terrace. Medium breakfast. The streets nearby are strange but we didn´t feel unsafe. Free wi-fi, medium quality of sign.
