The Adrina Hotel lost our reservation and the staff were not helpful in assisting us in finding a new room. I would not go back. more

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Adrian for 5 nights in May 2006 and returned after 3 years for a 3-night stay in May 2009. The best two things about the hotel are the location and the breakfast on the hotel's rooftop with a lovely view of the Plaka and the Acropolis. The rooms are small, very basic, and... more

The service was friendly and superb. The breakfast buffet was fullsome and tasty; included cucumbers, tomatoes, olives, eggs bacon, kiwi, coffee cake, toast, cereal & more. The hotel is small and charming, about 22 units, and the price could not be beat; to be in the heart of Plaka ( right beisde the Acropolis and many tourist shops and restaurants... more

My wife and I recently stayed at the Adrian, and found it to be a disappointing experience. The hotel bills itself as being ideally located, with excellent Acropolis views, clean and friendly, and of good value. Let's deal with each of these assertions: 1) Location. Good location if you want to be right in the tourist area and pay outrageous... more

We spent two nights here in June and were happy with our choice. The hotel is nondescript on the outside. I would have walked right by it if my partner hadn’t pointed it out. It was very easy to get to from the Monastiraki metro station with easy access to and from the airport. The room was functional, a bit... more

A great hotel in the center of the Plaka, around the corner from the Roman agora and the Tower of the Winds. Close to Monastiraki metro station. Comfortable rooms. Fabulous view of the Acropolis from rooftop terrace. more

We spent 8 nights at the Adrian in October of 2007 and found it to be a very nice place to stay. The rooms are spartan but very clean. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The guys at the reception desk were more than willing to help you with directions and advice. We had a room with a balcony... more

This hotel is all about location and the view at breakfast. The rooms are clean and almost shockinly basic. The location in the Plaka is great for access to anything you want to do. The staff speaks English well. Paying attention to which 'view' your room has would be a good idea up front... ours had a balcony... that looked... more

My wife and I stayed here in the middle of Sept. 06. Located within short walking distance of everything in the city made this the perfect starting point for our 2 week greek adventure. We took the subway from the airport to Monastiraki Station and walked our bags the 2 blocks to the hotel, very easy to do. It is... more

Excellent location right at the footstep of the Acropolis. The breakfast was good, and the views from the roof terrace was fantastic. Helpful and friendly staff There is a busy little plaza at the front of hotel with lots of cafes and restaurants. We were not disturbed by noise from the plaza. Short walking distance to Acropolis, the ancient agora,... more
