To be precise: On the border of the Monastiraki and Plaka district, a stone's throw from the Roman Agora, within easy walking distance to the Ancient Agora and Temple of Hephaisteion, Hadrian's Gate and the Temple of Zeus, the National Gardens and the Kallimarmaro Olympic stadium, the Greek Parliament and - if you feel like a bit uphill hiking -... 1) Tiny rooms. For 5 of us, we paid for 2 rooms, one for 2 people and one for triple. Both rooms were the same size. It was really hard to move around inside the rooms, not to mention the difficulty to open our luggages. The bathroom even had half size bathtub. I wouldn't call it a bathtub since it... More

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Adrian for 3 nights. The Manager and other staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with plenty of soft towels in the small but adequate bathroom.Yes, our balconies faced a wall, but we were only there for 3 nights in November so really did not find this much of... We chose the Hotel Adrian for the location and were not disappointed! The view from the Roof Terrace was amazing. Food excellent. The rooms were very acceptable---clean towels daily. All of the staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay at the Adrian again!!

Word of Caution. Although this appears to be a reasonable hotel in which to stay…it is NOT !!! The rooms are poorly maintained, the carpets are filthy, the rooms smell and in the room which I unfortunately had to occupy for one night (instead of the 9 originally planned) the bathroom door would not fully open because it was obstructed... We had selected this hotel based on reviews, location, and pictures. boy did we make a mistake! we just spent one nite and asked our tour company to move us to another location. Pros and cons: To be fair to hotel, the breakfast terrace was lovely for view of Acropolis , good food selection, linens, - lovely. The location is... More

Close to the Plaka and Acropolis on a street a little off all the souvenir shops. The hotel was clean, the people were friendly and the roof top patio with view of the Acropolis was unbeatable. The room was small but didn't stay there long!

All right, I admit, the room was small, the bathroom tiny, the decor dated. BUT it is in the most wonderful location, right on the Agora square with all its restaurants in the heart of the Plaka. The view of the Acropolis from the rooftop breakfast bar is breathtaking, and the breakfast was excellent too. Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice.... More

Great location in Plaka, handy for Acropolis. The rooms really need updated, dirty carpets and old fashioned bedding, triple room booked, however 3 rd bed was a fold away camp bed.For price paid I expected more. breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely and service at reception good. The price paid was way too high with the rooms offered.

Adrian Hotel is located in the centre of plaka, very close to the acropolis and has a great view to it from the roof where we had breakfast. This is a great location in the heart of the Plaka, surrounded by small shops and restaurants, easy access to metro trains, hop on hop off bus routes. Great view of the... More
