I'm a big BW fan, so was happy to find this good-priced BW in the city center. Reception area is looking very modern/loung like; staff is OK. When entering the room we were very happily surprised: it was quite later in the evening and our room had a perfect view on Akropolis which is looking spectacular in the dark. I... More

Just left this small hotel in athens. Certainly it's close to downtown athens attractions. The beds are very compact as is the bathroom. But things were clean, staff was friendly. The breakfasts were very good. No major complaints. Downtown athens has lots of boarded up buildings in the civinitu but never was concerned about safety. Rooms have a updated smarttv.... More

We arrived with a car around midnight after a huge traffic jam to find out that there is no parking. All paid parking were closed at this hour so we had to park where we could. That hotel is close to an abandoned building and there are homeless people calling "Satan" and smells of urine just 30 meters away from... More

A great BW which lives up to its reputation of being a good basic hotel with all the amenities you coudl want. The best thing is the location - from the airport to the hotel to accessing Athens and all it has to offer this hotel cannot be beaten. Whilst the rooms are small everything else is spot on. Breakfast... More

Just a couple of mins from Syntagma square, with decent sized rooms and wonderful staff. Very friendly and professional service, quick check in and check out. Breakfast spread is decent and overall a great value for the price. Highly recommended in one needs to be close to Syntagma, which has transport connections to almost everywhere and many dining/ eating options.

We choose this hotel because of the price and the good location, and couldn't be better. Bedrooms and breakfast room completely renovated, clean, they look like brand new. We found friendly and helpful staff both at reception and breakfast room. Two minutes walk to Sintagma square and 5 minutes to Plaka, this hotel is definitely recommendable. We will come back... Staying in Plaka

Neighborhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
