What I always search for, when I decide to stay in a hotel, is three specific features. 1) cleanliness 2) customer service 3) connection with transports I guarantee that "Tempi" hotel can fulfil all those features efficiently, offering clean and comfortable rooms, in cheap prices, with a view to Acropolis, free wireless internet, just in the centre of the city,... more

I stayed in Hotel Tempi for 4 nights, having booked by email. The hotel is in a perfect location in a pedestrian street in Monastiraki, very close to many attractions (few blocks to Agora, Hadrian's library, Syntagma Square), 15 minutes away from the Acropolis, only two blocks away from the subway station that links to the airport and to Piraeus... more

We stayed here for 4 nights, Really enjoyed having a glass of wine on the first floor balcony, overlooking a quiet tree lined pedestrian area, with a view of the acropolis. Room was very clean with fresh towels & bed linen every day. Easy walk to the metro station, Plaka restaurants, and the archeological sites near the acropolis. The staff... more

We had booked the Tempi because we read positive reviews. We were arriving late from a Pireaus Ferry, so had written ahead to tell them we would be late at night. There was a mixup (because of language issues, I think) on the dates. When I reconfirmed a week before, they got the dates wrong. So, when we arrived, we... more

We stayed here three nights, three in the room. The ratings of four stars is relative, we wanted something affordable so this is by no means a posh hotel. There is no lobby or elevator, the bathroom is very small with a sliding screen for a door. We had hot water, but the pressure was only so-so. The room was... more

Location ok, not far from public transport and in a decent neighbourhood. No lift, room was on 4th floor. It was a small but quiet and clean room, decent bed, working air conditioning, bath was small as well, no curtain in the shower so everything would get wet. There was a small balcony from where one can see the Acropolis... more

My husband and I stayed at Tempi a few times during our trip to Greece. We found it to be an excellent stopover. We stayed in shared bathroom & private bathroom rooms. Location is great. Easy walk from airport bus stop, metro & acropolis. Also the area seemed very safe even at early hours of morning. I was glad we... more

The "hotel" is well-placed but somewhat dirty (little bugs). For 68 euros/night without breakfast, it's better to go somewhere else. And wiser to add up 10 or 15 euros. more

Some rooms with private bathrooms and some without. Cleaned every day. The rooms are basic and well used. But it worked for 2 nights, i personaly would only recommend it for short stay. The location is good , close to Monastiraki but still quiet. When you walk out in the street outside the hotel you can see akropolis. more

Stayed one night before going to the Greek Islands and then another night when we came back. We had a triple bed room plus a spare bed - which made the room feel very squashy. The spare bed was a very basic metal fold up frame - not the most comfortable thing to sleep on. Bathroom / toilet area was... more
