Nice little hotel with complimentary Orange juice and Uzo awaiting your arrival. You can get there via the metro from the airport, although navigating the windy streets can be difficult. Its right by the American Embassy to that's useful. There isn't much to walk to nearby except a metro station two to three stops from the center of town. Free... More

We stayed here with my parents for one night. The hotel is beautifully decorated, neat, and exceptionally clean. Staff are very polite and efficient and the breakfast was good. The hotel is a bit far from plaka and the acropolis though and the metro stop a bit farther away then we thought. Overall a good experience barring our logistical challenges.

We had a pleasant stay here, and were pleased with the location, food and service. Breakfast came with the room, and the buffet breakfast was more than adequate to start the day. 7 minute walk to the metro which allows you to go anywhere easily and inexpensively. I'd stay here again. The staff was very helpful, answering any questions we... More

Stayed a few times at this hotel and personally found it, clean, with friendly staff, good location, quiet (not in the most agitated parts of the city), an ok breakfast (that could easily be improved) and good burgers at almost any time of the day. All this with a very interesting price offer, and no different than other more expensive... More

My friend and i booked this room as part of a package deal and typically the hotels are in a convenient location; however, this one was not really. It was located sort of away from everything and several blocks to the nearest metro stop. The room was very small and there was permanent mildew in the bathroom. The wifi did... More

We stayed here for a week in August. The staff were all very helpful. We didn't get to Stratos until 1:00am and even then the staff that greeted us were very polite and understanding. Breakfast every morning had an amazing selection with little differences each time. The greek sweets were always amazing! It's about 1km to the closest metro but... More

According to my opinion it is 3.5 star hotel. It is rather "boutique" type of facility. There is no room service and housekeeping after 23:00. Reception people are very helpful. They bring whatever you need to your room by themselves. Rooms are basic and well equipped. The breakfast is average. Dont forget to try Greek yoghurt. Hotel has a good... More

I booked this hotel for a 20 hour layover in Athens and I don't regret it for a moment. The hotel is easy to access from the airport via the Metro. (The train from the airport to Athens runs every half hour.) An added bonus is that you're just a couple stops from the Acropolis. The hotel itself feels like... More

We were very pleased with this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights and had zero complaints! The room was great plus our price included breakfast and even a free hair stylist in the mornings! We were just a few blocks from the metro and right around the corner from a grocery store. We would stay here again!

The hotel has nice rooms although it is an old building. Excellent breakfast, polite staff, cheap restaurant a la cart offering also traditional cuisine options. Fre but very slow wifi in rooms but ok speed at the lobby.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A new, unconventional proposal for those who seek something different in the center of Athens is the fully renovated hotel STRATOS VASSILIKOS. In the intensity of impressionism and hyperrealism, the totally renovated hotel unit is now in position to offer to the guest the emotional uplift and euphoria in combination with the coverage of his demands, in a place that combines harmonically the floral style with the frugality and relaxing mood. ... more   less
