There are some very good aspects to the President Hotel. The rooftop bar is lovely, with comfy seating, a pool and a panoramic view across Athens. The staff are friendly and helpful. My bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I slept well despite the noise - the double-glazing doesn't cut out the traffic noise from the very busy... More

Not really what I expected from a landmark hotel. Facilities are old. They don't provide dental kits, lotions and the usual trinkets from hotels. TV is the bulky type though we haven't opened it in the 6 days we stayed. Internet is not free. You have to buy card from the reception. Free Internet only available at lobby. Food not... More

This Hotel is at a decent location in Athens, but a very busy street. Staff was kind, and helpful. The beds were very uncomfortable, and there was a lack of English Channels on the TV. There was internet in the public areas, which was a bit slow.

The first impression was that this is an average hotel. The check in was quite fast with kind and friendly staff. As I walked further in, well I said this hotel needs some renovation. When I walked in the room, well I said the room needs a total renovation. In my opinion, there are other hotels in Athens, especially boutique... More

Grand lobby and rooftop area but rooms are a little dated. However, they are clean and well equipped and the location for this hotel is great, perfect base to explore all that Athens has to offer. Buffet style breakfast is very nice with plenty to choose from and on site bars have great atmospheres.

We were lucky enough to stay here in july 2011/12 for a week. If you just want to get a great nights sleep in a comfy bed with no noise at night followed by laying in the sun by the roof top pool all day chillaxing whilst the bar staff come around offering you drinks and snacks.. and you don't... This is a 2-star hotel disguised as much more. The rooms and facilities look as if they haven't been renovated 20 years! The staff was un-professional, rude, lazy and lacked English language skill. Also VERY anti-American. I would have left immediately upon arrival, except that it was July and all the rooms in Athens were booked. High season! After my... More

I felt this hotel was really good and the rooms were big , and clean . Reception was ok and helpful with ordering cabs and giving tourist information. The location is ok bit far out but easy accessible by the metro the minutes away. Best feature of the hotel is the swimming pool at the top! Worth the trip to... More

Hotel staff are friendly, reception is grand, overlooks the city and not too far from city center.adequate options in breakfast. But had issues, when we arrived, we were offered smoking room with two single beds instead of our booking of non smoking and double bed and we were asked to "try our luck" the next day. Next day we got... More
