We had booked for two nights. Basic accommodation with the smallest bath on the planet. Braekfast consisted of cold toast and cheap cornflakes. Single beds did not go down too well. The location is central to the Metro system. It is a red light district with all sorts of scary characters selling their wears. So beware! more

I had read the terrible reviews online before staying at this hotel but should have taken them more seriously! It is situated right in the red light district of Athens. Our cab pulled up to the hotel and my friend went to take her money out to pay him and the driver stopped her and told her to never pull... more

Well ill start off by saying watch out for the elevator, it freaked me out a bit. Definitely dont use the international phone in the lobby, i have a suspicious $200 bill. breakfast consists of, cold toast, cold toast, or cold toast. The neighborhood scared the living daylights out of me. The whole place reeked of smoke. Probably the worst... more

I had read some reviews on this site before going, so i knew what to expect. The staff was rude (they didn't help me with my heavy luggage although I explicitly asked them to). It's true that the neighborhood was shabby (the prostitutes on the streets in daylight), and the view was terrible, but I felt secure inside the hotel,... more

I was thrown off a bit because of the negative comments, but was pleased to discover that most were over exaggerated. I will say that this isn't a hotel for a romantic get-away, but it is definitely one if you want to explore the city. The neighborhood isn't spectacular, and I can see why some would feel intimidated, but I... more

We booked this hotel on the internet for 36euro per room per night incl. breakfast, and when we wanted to stay longer, this same rate (42euro less than rack rate) was agreed upon. Not many places are that generous. Also, it was not a problem that we arrived at 7am - they gave us free coffee while we waited for... more

Even though, hotel itself is off good location and relatevely good standard there is no way i will ever stay there again. hotel is located on the side of a bigger street and is gererally used as a toilet for drug addicts, illegal emigrants, and that sort of people. I was scared to go out after 5pm as people we... more

I agree with previous reviewers re thin walls and creaky beds - but if you're not going to be in your room that much and you're s ound sleeper then this would be an OK budget hotel. The Omonia area has a bad reputation as several reviews below have mentioned - it seemed OK when I was there but apparently... more
