Stayed in a 4 person room. One of the beds was an extra bed that had dead springs. The real beds were OK. Room was very small and with 4 people staying it was cramped. Shady neighborhood. OK for a low budget traveller for a night or two.

We had booked this hotel due to it's location. Requested and booked a superior double room, but when we got to the room, there were two single beds. Nothing superior about it at all!!!! A quick trip back to reception resulted in being given the key to a room which had a double bed! Pros: close to shops. Free internet... More

Spent two nights at the Balasca Hotel. Traveling as a family, husb, wife and two daughters 10 & 12 yrs. There are no frills, the beds are hard. The breakfast was fabulous, making for the start two great days in Athens. The breakfast also increases the value of the stay at the Balasca. Very close to the Metro (just around... More

Chose this hotel because of other's reviews and were not disappointed. It is close to the Larissa Station and in minutes you can be anywhere in the city by using the metro, train or bus systems. We originally booked in for 2 nights not sure if it would meet our needs, and ended up making it our home base for... More

You get what you pay for, not a very nice hotel, in a dodge area. There was very bad smell of smoke in room. Perfect for tourist who just need place to sleep. Good location though and for the price you cant expect much more.

Stayed here on the middle of our contiki in July 2012, after staying in camping cabin huts for the 10 days before it was lovely to be back in a hotel that even had a hair dryer. Was in a wee bit of a shady looking area but I did find that to be quite deceiving as the hotel was... More

This hotel is in a shady location, but the price is extremely reasonable and the room is comfortable enough. There was a naked man in an apartment across the street from the hotel and he was shining a green laser pointer into my room. After that, we stopped going out to the balcony & kept the blinds closed. In general,... More

This 3-star hotel with 7 floors has rooms in various standard (single, double etc.) and is situated close to the metro station (Larissis) and train station (same name) - which means you've good connection with Pireus port and airport. Daily room service (e.g. fresh towels every day, free cosmetics). Hotel is located in very good localization - you don't have... More

Hotel is at 10min walk from Larissa Station. Streets are dark at night. Staff is very courteous but the room which I got (single room with queen-sized bed) was very small. Similarly the wash room had hardly any space to stand there. But at 30 Euros a night, not much could be expected. Or could it be?

located in not so attractive area of Athens, not a save one in my opinion, provides a good start to visit the city. 10 minutes walk away from the archeaological Museum in Athens. If you have a choice, stay in another area, although the hotel seems to be professional enough, so are the breakfasts.
