We were very pleased with the Athens Cypria Hotel. Besides its convenient location, the hotel offers an attractive, modern facility and a delicious buffet breakfast. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Easy access from the airport or Piraeus port by way of the metro system or bus X95 (for the airport) or X 96 for the port. Unlike other... More

We were looking for a decent (clean, safe, functional, not too expensive) centrally located hotel for our brief stays while flying in and out of Athens. We were looking for something close to Syntagma and Monastiraki, since we were flying in then leaving on an early ferry. This hotel met our needs. It isn't fancy, but we weren't expecting that... This hotel is on a walking distance to many attractions in Athens and in the middle of a shopping area. Also restaurants are in walking distance as is the metro-station Syntagma, with a direct link to the airport. The staff is helpful, rooms are basic but OK, although I stayed on the first floor (hardly any daylight) and it is... More

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times because of its central location, close to sightseeing, shopping, restaurants, city life and transport. The hotel is convenient, very clean and the breakfast is as good as can be expected in Athens. The staff are very helpful and polite. The only complaint is the bed, the mattress was very hard.

Booked this hotel from reading reviews at tripadvisor. During booking we have options if we like 2 single beds or double bed. I ticked double bed but when we got there it's 2 single beds joined together. The bed was uncomfortable and hard. There's a small balcony but no nice view (M&E space and other rooftops/adjacent bldgs). Room was okay.... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel when we arrived from a trip to Aruba. We were tired and needed a good place to rest and then to see a few things in Athens. The hotel was perfectly located for that. The room was simple but adequate. We had a little balcony which didn't look out... More

I stayed at the Athens Cypria hotel for one week in September 2014 while attending a conference. If you want luxury, don't stay here. BUT -- if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel with GREAT breakfast and good location, this is a good choice for you! Rooms are a bit dated and very simple but they... This hotel is situated in the center of town and this is the only advantage of the hotel. There is problem with many rooms so you have to make sure that you are allocated a room in the new section. Breakfast is below average . There are many other better option in the neighbourhood.
